I wonder what she was using for sweat?
😊 I do set dec. This is just a day in the life.

Do not EVER pay anyone to teach you to be a PA. A person with common sense and a good work ethic can be a PA and do well in the film biz. As a PA you can walk in off the street and start working as long as you FOLLOW ORDERS and act professionally. Professional film workers respect PAs and dont abuse their inexperience but try to teach them . Any so-called "school" that charges people money to "learn" this entry level position is ripping people off.
Time for a post covid update? Come to atl.
How can i get a job as ad from India

Nice…🎉
My dad is the location manger 😊❤
Don't take out the Dylan photos!
Very cool.
There are courses where you can learn this craft. At least in other parts of the world. I live in germany and am doing a 3 year vocational training at a theater to become a scenic painter.
Why am I coming home after 13 hours of set decking and watching this
That's great! Cheers for the kind words and love that Mr.Sramek spoke of.
How do you get started doing hair in the film industry?
Awesome video. enjoyed listening to this perspective!
ty for helping me realize further anything can be re-engineered
I am going to use this for commercial purposes so F U!
You learn so much more by being a grip. Everyone should start there. Producers, directors, writers
Fuck yes !
Hey, Brother good listening to you. Miss working with you. Come and visit sometime. TROPICS!
I want to work in your team. How to connect?
How are these items cleaned after they are used. Of body odour and stains
It depends on the garment. Specific stains are treated in different ways. With covid, most things are sent out every night after they are worn and brought back the next day so the stains don't get much chance to set. Odours are usually able to be washed out unless they are very old and in that case they can be steamed out with a few drops of pinesol in the water. make up can be usually removed with oxiclean gel. In this video, the truck costumer isn'tin a truck (like I am right now as I type this). We have a full laundry station on the truck. I'm sure she did too in her "dungeon"
Looks like a good movie. What is the title of the movie?
Eve and the Fire Horse
I love this! Very informative!
Great, thanks
Awesome! I’ve ALWAYS loved special effects, so thanks for sharing this
1:17 lol.... thats my old apartment window above the pawn shop . what are the flippin odds!

Watching this the night before my first time being an AD
same here haha, was meant to be the 2nd AD but now I have to fill in
@@darcys2176 Nioce, my experience with it tbh was pretty boring though, not really my thing, good luck with yours 👍🏻
Hi there! I am a screenwriter & independent producer (this is me here: @t. I'm working on a new indie feature and wondering if you would be open to me using some short audio clips from this video in the project? I would so appreciate the chance to tell you more about the movie and the specific audio clips we'd like to incorporate. Please let me know if there is a good place to send you a message or email with more info? Looking forward to hearing from you, and thanks! -Best, Elisabeth
not sure why my link didn't work, but here is my imdb again: www.imdb.com/name/nm3831085/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 please let me know if there is a good way to be in touch further about the project, as there does not seem to be a way to message you through RUclips. Thanks!
If you have to use a pre existing pawn shop, your show doesn't have a budget.
Isn't that the definition of Indie? (what they said this was)
this is indi though
This was a really helpful and encouraging video - thank you for your hard work!
My friend, Janet, you were always so modest. I did not know the half of your talent.
👍
Please you folks return to Toronto...
Very informative video thank you!
What she said about burning yourself out is absolutely true. I'm the only one whose been costume crew for my schools plays and musicals for three years, and after every show, you're basically dead, especially after tech week and the shows. The director of the shows has told me that "the show would fall apart if [I] wasn't there." Next year I train a freshman to take my place. Hopefully I don't scare them off, otherwise I'll have to come back to help out while I'm at college!
Let me see YOU set up a camera right with just a paper clip and an elastic band. Then I'll be impressed
I've never seen a locations p.a yell rolls and cuts. Also they don't touch another depts gear ever..also non union shows are a no no for me (they usually don't have a budget for basic insurance and other necessities)
Are you a union makeup artist?
greetings from indonesia film crew, excited.
I miss you Bev!! 💓 💓
Awesome. I grew up watching Stargate and to this day it's still my favorite series. Now that I work in production, I appreciate even more the amount of work that went into making it so great!
What type of mics are mounted on the booms for indoor dialogue?
usually, a shotgun mic Because they have very directional cardiac noise pick up. Meaning that they only pick up in mostly a straight line and a little bit from behind them.
Hypercardioid or supercardioid condenser mic would be most suitable for indoor, such as a Sennheiser MKH-50
@@joellouisfire best mic is what you own.
Film mekars your the best, thank for good job
