I always particularly liked Brendan Gleeson's performance in the Harry Potter movies. I was neutral on Ralph Fiennes' Voldemort. This movie was my first time seeing them outside of the Harry Potter series and they almost immediately became two of my favorite actors ever.

It’s the weirdest thing hearing Ralph Fiennes doing a Cockney accent, especially since most roles he plays are either aristocratic, posh or well to do. It’s the same as Ben Kingsley when he played Don Logan in Sexy Beast. One can only see Kingsley and Fiennes playing Gentleman’s Gentlemen.
