God save the Queen
The end of an era. I still can't adjust to her death. What politicians show such duty, fortitude, devotion to our country and people?
I want my money back 😂
Absolutely beautiful. Wonderful music for the greatest monarch: Queen Elizabeth II the Great. Always my Queen.
This still makes me cry.... You are missed Your Majesty. 💔🥺💔
I miss her
As an American, with no real link to the UK, I always adored Queen Elizabeth. And always will.
A constant throughout my life. The United Kingdom, Commonwealth and western world were so fortunate that Her late Majesty and the late Duke of Edinburgh served us. Greatly missed.
Who the hell had their phone on.... FFS
If I remember correctly members of the orchestra were in tears.
I'm an American and it hurt me when I heard of the Queen of England passing. She was one of a kind.🙏
Elizabeth 11 the jewel in the Crown our country is not the same without without you Ma'am bless you thankfully for all the duty you gave every day of your life because you were very special and will remain so in my heart.
To be able to play Elgar impromptu is a measure of the professionalism of the orchestra. Nimrod is a divine and sombre piece of music and a fitting tribute to Her Late Majesty - in 2025 still missed by this Aussie ❤
That Nimrod must have moved a lot of souls that night.
She respectfully did her duty. An amazing woman of the 20th Century.
Oh to be British !!!!! Xxxxxxx
My god 😢 what a woman...... The orchestra were truly brilliant 😢😢😢❤
That murmur of the crowd at 0:34 is everyone saying “Aw shit, this is going to be amazing. We’re about to cry alot…” This is America’s way of retuning the favor for playing The Star Spangled Banner outside Buckingham Palace after 9/11. What a perfect way for us as Americans to share in solidarity the grief felt by our friends across the pond.
Too much. How I miss her. Nimrod 😢
God bless this extraordinary Queen of our hearts ♥️✨🫡💜
Bravo! Hear the gasps. Unreal moment of history.
She was deeply loved
Just remarkable. The moment, and the solemnity of it, as a direct and palpable example of the respect and love for the late Queen and her example. I can say, without even the shadow of a doubt, that this was the most emotive performance that any of these musicians had or will ever give as an elegy to one of the greatest women who ever lived.
Even now, some years after our wonderful Queen's passing, this video moves me to tears. God bless you, Your Majesty. RIP.
Currently England is banning silent prayer. Things move fast. Bless her soul.
We loved your Queen.. our hearts go out to you!! Love from America! ❤
Anyone else see that orb fly at the top of the screen just before the national anthem???
A sad but beautiful moment in our time.
SHE WAS MY QUEEN FROM THE AGE OF TWO I OBVIOUSLY DON'T REMEMBER HER FATHER, AND I LOVE HER SON KING CHARLES III. BUT EVEN NOW, AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY FOUR, I CRY FOR HER AND ALWAYS WILL. I LOVED HER MORE THAN I KNEW. TO ME SHE WILL CONTINUE TO BE MY MOST BELOVED HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II. NONE WILL SURPASS HER. EVER. 🤎 🏴🇬🇧 🤎
I still miss Her Maj, the only constant person in my life 😢😢😢😢😢😢
On the day of Her Majesty’s funeral, I was at Nottingham Rail Station awaiting my train to London and flight out of LHR. The large screen TVs were showing the funeral proceedings when an announcement was made there would be 2 minutes of silence at noon. Two.Minutes. Absolute.Silence. In a rail station. Not a sound! What a symbol of respect!
What is this piece of music?
@GerardMeyer-h2s yes thanks, I have it now. Thanks anyway.
Damned mobile phones!
Absolutely outstanding. Never seen this before or aware of it.
She was also satanic.
I don't think so
My favourite piece by Elgar and a fitting tribute to that wonderful lady Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
There will never be another like her. Thank you for your service Your Majesty. Rest In Peace.
I still find it hard to comprehend that she is gone ❤️
Beautiful
I still can’t believe this happened. It’s strange singing god save the king. But it was handled beautifully!
The day I saw the Paddington sketch I knew her days were numbered, very sad day :(
I cry when I watch that.
There are various divine signs associated with that ... Just beginning with the fact that she died 96 days later aged 96...
She did her duty before God to the best of her ability to a most exemplary standard. 🇬🇧 She will meet the High King of Glory now. 👑
For all their many faults, the British are marvelously disciplined in a way US citizens could never be.
I was in Gallipoli, Turkey, on a battlefield tour, when we received word during dinner. There was shock and a stunned silence. We then stood and toasted her and the new King. Many of us were ex service veterans and she'd been 'The Boss' to us. God bless you, Ma'am.
That tune at the end is awful. Never liked it. Rest of the tribute though was lovely. I think a better way to honour her would be finish the concert. Stiff upper lip. Keep calm and carry on. What could be more British than that?
Which artist and which hymn?
such deep respect !!!! ❤❤❤❤
Nimrod was one of late Queen ‘s favorite pieces …
It's very moving. 😢
I only wish that some Americans could reclaim this dignity!
I don’t recognize the second piece they played. It was very fitting
