guys please learn how to properly sharpen your chains..you were spraying straight powder..yikes yikes..hold maybe I should become a rep and start selling replacement parts..learn how to sharpen then keep them sharp..life gets easier...
@powerstrokediesel100, well with the way he's cutting he probably will have a tree come over backwards at him. But to your point, why wear any safety gear all? Sure it won't help a if the main tree falls directly on him. There are A LOT of other things that can happen to you when tree felling where a hardhat will save your life, or at least a trip to the ER. I'm not saying a hardhat if perfect, but they make sense.
I hear these 310s have got a costly deal, If you ever need to change the head or piston out, ya may as well buy a new saw. The cost to replace one or the other... You maybe better off buying a new saw because it would cost 1/2 the saw price to replace.. anyone know this for sure?
Bad job, left a huge dutchman without even realizing it. No hardhat either. These are just a few clues left behind that show your are unaware of the dangers that are present. Which leads me to my conclusion that you are an amateur.

noi kno people who run 22in and the ms 290 with no problems

Nice video. I am getting a 24" bar for my 310 soon instead of the 18" that I currently have. It looks like the 310 has plenty of power for a 24" bar.
Nice video! I have a stihl ms250.
