@@DadamMTG Well, I would argue that the first two are just straight up bad includes. They pretty much can't trigger your commander unless you get instant speed land search.

@@DadamMTG I'm sorry, but how is having a nearly useless card in your deck not going to affect how the deck plays? 1 Damage per turn to each opponent at max is a terrible effect in edh. Unless you are using fetch lands this card is going to basically never meaningfully impact the game. And the land is a very bad tapped land. It's a fine include if you consistently have something that is going to care about that damage, or the targeting, or whatever. But your commander literally doesn't. There are 25+ better budget dual lands you could be running in that slot. Hell, there's even some lands that actually could trigger your commander. The only time I could see adding these cards not being detrimental for your deck is if you are playing at incredibly low power levels. At which point, I would urge you to not play this deck anyway, because people HATE group slug, and if you bring it out at a low power table you are going to get 3v1ed. Look, I don't want to be unpleasant about this, because its clear you aren't an incredibly experienced player, at least in this format. I would seriously urge you to look for some cards that actually synergize with the commander, there are a hell of a lot of them, many of them are incredibly budget to pick up, and they will actively progress you towards winning the game rather than being a largely dead draw. If you want something that will function very similarly to the geopede, but actually work, look at Nightshade harvester. it will trigger on all of your opponents land drops, which critically, usually happen during their turn for Valgavoth. Run Kederekt parasite, it's a 1 drop that will trigger your commander on every single opponents turn, and it only costs $4, which is incredibly cheap for an option that good. Anyway, I hope the deck building goes well for you, and that you enjoy this deck. I hope I haven't come off as too rude, I just hate to see players fall into the trap of running nonbos like these.

@@demonicgrub1025 the card you listed are already in the deck I’ve been playing Commander for 10 years now So before you and I part ways with this conversation, and since you were very adamant about saying that the cards I am suggesting are not great what are three cards that you would add in over mine that are as cheap as possible that are functional that will help our commander do what it needs to do

I love this idea honestly! My play style wouldn’t let me devolve into throwing thoracle combos in the deck because that just doesn’t seem fun to me and not the play style I want to promo. I definitely think going forward I will keep me this im mind and might be a great idea for a second series if not implemented in this one!

@@DadamMTG I just want to see people succeed with genuine unique compelling content. But I keep seeing everyone fall back to pack crackin, microstomks, box battles, and pack crackin for other games from people who claim to love magic. No real innovation. I already see content creators quitting or losing sponsors or being chewed up by the algorithm. It's forcing them to be slave wage workers for something they love. It's forcing them to be advertiser yes-men. It's forcing them to be dependent on product currency instead of relevance and longevity. It's okay to flow somewhat with consumerism but Anyone can do that and does- which means nothing is special at all levels of content. It's not content creation to be relegated to pack cracking. Thats just metered advertisement and WotC is only handing out crumbs for that. There is a finite niche to get a foot in the door for logical progression product purposing. And yeah it needs a bit of rule structure but no one is doing it. It's not expensive. It promotes fun and fair play and it may open up the general player base to a more desirable format as well as add a safer space for new player onboarding. If no one has any inclination to be different then their complaining of algorithm burial is nil. If our youth don't learn such things by example there won't be anyone that cares about collection vallue in the future. There won't be any point in the expenditure for sleeves. And the majority of documentation of our lives will just be white noise.

Work and personal life has been getting busy so I appreciate all the patience! And the deck feels real good especially for not adding super strong cards yet so once that happens I’ll be excited to see how it plays from there
