Je vois les commentaires et je suis très attristée. Ca parle de plongée, super spot, etc ...bla,bla,bla. Mais, oh les gars, c'est tout ce que vous avez à dire ??! Moi, je n'étais qu'une enfant et je me souviens, j'ai toujours ces visions de destruction de la nature dans ma tête et le souvenir de cette grande douleur nationale. Je suis toujours traumatisée par l'image de "la mort de l'oiseau", j'ai tellement pleuré et ragé de la bêtise des adultes. Néanmoins, ce drame a permis de mettre en place un protocole et des mesures drastiques pour la navigation des super tankers à proximité des côtes et ça a permis d'éviter depuis plus d'une dizaine de catastrophes du même acabit.

J'adore ! Mais quand même, ce plongeur gagnerait beaucoup en confort s'il palmait les jambes allongées plutôt que les genoux en avant. Conseil très amicale d'un vieux Plongeur ( qui préférai l'apnée)

It's amazing when you consider the amount of oil this thing released when it sank and how much damage was done to the ecology. It's been 45 years and it has come back into a beautiful place to dive and look at it today. Of course, there were thousands of volunteers who worked really hard at cleaning up the area and there are still scars, but nature is a TOUGH lady. I remember people back then were talking about how the area was ruined for the next 100 years before anyone could eat the seafood that came from there. No, nature has a way of healing itself.
