Idaho Forest Group was formed in 2008 when two regional timber interests - Riley Creek Lumber and Bennett Forest Industries - combined their resources. The company continues to invest in new facilities, technology and manpower.

What a trip! I worked in this mill for 14 years and didn't recognize hardly anything in the whole first half of the video. It has changed so much!

je suis intéressé par cette technologie, car je suis dans pays(Gabon° où il y a beaucoup de bois. Alors, y a-t-il un produit qui peut être appliqué sur le bois, afin d'éviter l’incendie ?
Great video. Would have been nice to add some text labels describing what is happening to the log and final product (ie debarking or kiln drying for 20 hours). The text would add so much for those of us who never worked at the mill.
Yes there is a lot going on at the mills and this was only meant for a high level introduction into the manufacturing floor. We will look at creating a more in-depth version later. Thank you Larry for the advice!
