I bought this today , but lume is working only for Minute and hour hand , is it defective?

does this movement readilt fit the back of the dial face? can you post part numbers fot he movement and rubber gaslets

please invest in a microphone, or at least some sound proofing... this is painful to listen to.

Me, I’d replace a regular quartz movement with a thermocompensated one. I’m sure that there are a mess of ETA movements that are the same size as one of ETA’s PreciDrive thermocompensated models. I’m not sure I’ve seen any PreciDrive movements offered for sale at the usual sellers of watch parts. I haven’t looked very hard, however.

How long did the service take? ...and I fully agree. Neo-vintage watches? Completely fine for a total overhaul. Beautiful piece. Congrats.

I’m sure you have already figured this out but if you get it up to full charge it should maintain a charge as kind as you want. Once fully charged and you wear it at least once per month, like I do, you will always have enough charge.

I just saw your video. You have no idea how much some of us appreciate that you aren't just showing off you rolexes etc. This two tone lunar pilot and your wrist timex one... amazing pieces. It shows that you dot need to spend a lots of money to have very cool and unique pieces.

I have an older Casio Solar Atomic and it required a lot of charging in the sun, rarely reaching high charge. I ran it that way for over 10 years, and eventually it would hardly get to medium level so I replaced the battery. Now it charges to high and thus the battery was always the problem. If I were you I'd get a new battery and an LED watch charger and whenever it gets down to medium or low give it a night on the lower level in the LED charger, or a day in the sun. Avoid getting the watch hot which the LED on high may get too warm, and full direct sun may also be too hot. But keep charging it till it registers high and make sure power save is on, then it will survive storage better.

I can see taking Los Angeles CA off the dial, and even not putting Nashville TN on, but how about a U.S.A. on the bottom of the dial. Most Swiss companies do (or did) put SWISS under the 6.

That is a piece of crap for that price point! I can get a Sieko, Hamilton and an Orient for that. I mean it's a quartz movement dude.

Long Island watch makes an excellent metal jubilee for SKX, solid end links and milled clasp, they even give you a screw driver that fit the screws perfectly (Scews, not pin and collar links) and thick spring bars that fit better than Seiko spring bars. $59.00 a no brainer.

I have a couple of tough solar/ multiband 6 g shocks (looking at getting one of these in the gmw b5000 range) I just keep them on a windowsill in a spare room when not in use. They always have full power and recieve atomic clock radio signal nightly.

Got mine delivered yesterday, black version. In person its even nicer looking than videos and photos.

I bought this watch from a Japanese shop in, I think it was 2020. It was their last one. I also have a Seiko titanium without any DLC coating. I'm always torn because I like the natural look of titanium but I also really like the strength and 'feel' of the DLC. Anyway, this watch is a real treasure. It's amazing how light it feels on the wrist in spite of its size.

You hate solar for your purposes? Just don't store it in a dark place. It's not so difficult. Also i saw a beat up B5000 and it looked awesome. So no need to worry about scratches at all.

I keep mine in a Southern facing window sill and it is always fully charged, even if I haven’t touched it for months. As others have mentioned, the power reserve is many months if fully chaeged when you put it away.

I have the Tag carrera calibre 1969 How can i get the main 60sec hand to move? It moves only with the stop watch. Or this the way it normally.is?
