hi Jay, hello, can I use this video on my channel? Any comment about what or where did this happen? Thanks and stay safe.
Do you guys still sell them? I need one I can truly count on. I always struggle with these tubs
I have a Maytag Bravos washer MVWB755YQ0. I replaced the tub bearing with a kit. I noticed at the last 6 min or so of the final spin cycle, the spin increases then a knocking/tapping noise develops. No error code is displayed. Does anyone know the cause of the tapping sound?
+jorge hernandez - could be that the shaft nut has loosened, or the motor rotor may be loose. I have run into 2 that the bearing was bad causing a knocking noise a few weeks after I replaced the bearings. If you remove your tub and motor rotor and spin the shaft and it makes the noise, it is the bearings:(
I can't tell you enough how much money this tool has saved me. Makes the job so much more simple. Single tech can do anything now. Just wanted to say that it's well worth the pitance it sells for.
Jay, way to go! I recently purchased and got a chance to use this tool on an extremely rusted tub shaft. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the tool. The CNC work is beautiful and it's clear a lot of thought has gone in to this tool. Being a hack fabricator and welder I had considered making my own Home Depot version, but I'm so glad I didn't waste my time. It might have worked, but your solution is so sleek and well thought out I was happy to help support the cause. I'm not really sure how I've gotten by without this for so long. If you have a second please check out my Frozen GE waterline tool that I created: GraceAppliance.com/IceSurrender Again, beautiful work. Andy
I am a laundry technician for a major company. I used this tool for the first time a few days ago and it ROCKS! I used no lubrication j6st to see if it would stand the test and it worked great. For those of you who are worried about ripping the screws out, don't. Just make sure you seat all 6 screws before applying pressure. Thanis Jay for saving me time ajf more importantly my back!
I am a laundry technician for a major company. I recently received this tool and have used it once already. I put it to the test. I used NO lubricant to see if it would hold up under the intense pressure. This tool ROCKS! For those worried about ripping the screws out, don't. Just make sure you seat all 6 screws before applying pressure. Thanks Jay for saving me time, money but most importantly from back pain and loss of pay.
I was using the new improved version. Love it!!!
Jay, Please show a video demonstrating the entire process of installing the tool and pulling the tub. Thanks!
+Dean Landers I will work on that Dean:)

I'm a bit worried the six screws might pull out of the basket if the basket is stuck really badly. I'm fighting such situation right now. I'm thinking the right sized socket on the bolt would work a lot easier than a Crescent wrench. Socket, extension and an impact wrench? What do you think of that idea? I've had wash plates next to impossible to get loose too. While I'm here have you every had a machine just fill to the top of the stainless steel part of the basket, stop and immediately drain? I did get an F68 code but in was last in line. This '06 Cabrio has the tall agitator so it's not all that desirable for resale but I hate to scrap it. Like cars sitting around for months unused are not good for them neither is it good for these machines to lay idle for months. Great idea on the puller. Cheers, Neill
+Neill Southwick , I have pulled many of these tubs including some that have had the shaft seized to the tub from setting with no use for over a year and rusting together and it effortlessly pulls the tub. I have had a friend try to only install 2 of the screws back into the tub and it did rip them out, but I have many friends in the business using this tool and have sold hundreds with only good feedback. New design is now available which is two piece which makes installation much easier and yes, I do use an 18v 1/4"drive impact for speed. The 6" crescent wrench was just to show how easy the job is. $130 - ships to anywhere in the US
Look like the professional you are if you make a living servicing these machines. Walk into a customers home with the confidence that you can easily remove inner basket on these machines. NO MORE FIGHTING AND NO MORE SORE BACK!! only $130 - new design easier to use
Just received my tool! Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but gone are the days of struggling to take the tub out. I have a four tech service company and now this is easily a one man job. Used to be a one man job, unless the tub fought, then I'd have to send another tech out there. I saw this tool and ordered it instantly. I know the value of a good tool. Thanks Jay!
very nice job with designing this tool Jay. Glad to see it's made in USA.
can you give new small business a better price Jay.
+Denise LeBlanc I can do $130 It pays for it self after using it once or twice. After that it just puts money back in your pocket.
YOU ARE THE MAN!! We all know how frustrating this can be to fish out those socks and getting our hands cut up from that damm cheese grater of a basket. a hub puller!! You remember the G.E. "Agitamer"? I still have it. The bladder that fills with water and pops the stuck agitator off. Your asking price is a bit pricey though. But, none the less. thanks!!
$150 for tool +$15s&h

I wish I could run down to home depot and get this, I have taken apart my Oaisi just to get stuck at the freaking basket! I have chicken wings for arms and I've use a ton of wd 40! I know it's just a sock under there, and I really don't want to pay sears to come out for a sock! Any other suggestions?
Tool would cost you less than Sears coming out and pulling tub. Use it and sell it on Ebay
Jay Spencer how long will it take to ship to CA?
Denise Schumann 2days
Seems to work bit a little steep for something you could bang out a machine shop
Patent costs $ and they are machined out of solid steel and powder coated over 1 hr in cnc machine, not cheap to manufacture. If you do this for a living its not much money.
Yes I do this for a living and yes I've spent more for "special tools" like this. If I start to get more stuck baskets (and I suspect I will) I'll definitely consider it.

Cabrio OL code. F50code. F51 code
is the bearing what causes these codes, or theRPS?
Jordan, the bearings can cause this code. More times than not its clothes stuck under the tub. Also can be caused by RPS sensor or bad connection at the sensor
