Note for Tonatiuh: after using 7T weapon active during ultimate, do a short, split-second combo attack (Barrage, hold A) followed by ultimate finisher - this suspends the timer but allows boss exit animation to continue. This tech also works against Benares (which is where I discovered it while experimenting) but yields only 884 score (vs. 917 with FT, but good enough if you're only aiming to clear).

Squeezed in a run last-minute and improved to 790, good for 5th rank (tied with 4th). Noticed during playback that I failed to trigger Teri's weapon active during phase transition. I'd have really liked some trophies here, but I just can't compete with Captains who have Thelema, and that's been the theme since her debut. The last two weeks (four cycles) of Abyss have been so punishing, and that's led me to produce a string of my most disappointing results in a good while, as consequence of having missed key meta pieces which came at a bad time for me. I can now say with certainty that I'm done pushing, I just don't have the same energy and financial liberty to keep up like I used to (and knowing how important the contents of the next version update are, as well as the freshly-announced collab for the version that follows it, do not help one bit). This may mean worse chances for the next Artbook, but I don't really mind missing out on that anymore. Like Teri, I'm just so tired already. I really hate losing, but at the same time I just want to be able to enjoy the game again, and for that to happen I need to completely shift my focus away from meta-driven accomplishments, and be content with what I can attain within my temporal and financial means. Such is the nature of gachas; if you don't have full control of yourself - your feelings, emotions, impulses, and whatnot, you'll be eaten alive. Mentally, and financially. Game responsibly, Captains.

Finished third in bracket with an improved score of 774, though I have no idea how I even got this, I actually meant to throw the run and even took my hands off the controls, but the shield layers of the last phase were depleting faster? lol, all I know is that I had CE out and didn't use her ult. Guess I have more reading to do. If I'm up for it, that is. 🛌🏼

Not sure if it's just my phone that isn't holding up, or if it's the game becoming less optimised with each passing update. And here I thought HI3 was getting unpleasant. Anyway, I do hope Bunny May gets Tech as her EX Role, but Sprint seems nice, too. Support would be just sad for me personally, but I guess it makes the most sense given the rest of her kit being pseudo-support and how one might want to sync first with their Megas (Tech really only suits my specific style/rotation).

To anyone seeing this: I scored this high regardless thanks to the guidance of Nyll - I had no idea how to properly run solo HoO dps until seeing just one video from him. I just wish I had seen and realised earlier that I needed Handel on GD.
