@TNT_FPV thanks its alot more fun. Thats pretty bad if it just overheated a couple of times and stopped, ive heard alot of people talk about the cable connection on the board connector is not very well attached and caused it not to work. I have o4 air unit pro mounted just same as before o3 air unit, i use the fan at all times just to make sure no black outs. I hope you get it working asap and get back in the air. 🫡✅️

@melted_cheetah Thanks, yeah the o3 is not so great in the low light situations. Im seeing positive news about o4 low light and capabilities. As soon as they start shipping im grab 2. 👏🫡

@capitancairlblandford5785 hey pilot, so if you want to get a speedybee fc with combination spektrum radio, so you can buy one of many spektrum receivers that are capable of connecting to the FC through the Sbus port or Srxl2 or serial receiver.

Use an SRXL2 capable receiver like a Spektrum 4651T. The INAV documentation will have the how-to’s for the set up, but it isn’t very complicated.

@demetrimorales8996 hey pilot, thanks for checking into it, I would say most 1meter and larger scale can handle the o3 air unit. This was a 1.2m p51 from horizon hobby. I had about 3 or 4 of the same model, and yes they did great with the o3. 🫡

@ so I would imagine it would be too much weight with all the components installed for a 750mm scale, incase I end up getting a less expensive scale/ plane

@demetrimorales8996 exactly, I would say the 750mm range is certainly capable with a smaller camera system. Maybe an analog tiny whoop drone camera system. But yes, the o3 unit is a little bulky for the smaller models to carry.

@ how were you able to push record without a DJI controller cause I have the o3 air unit and the controller 3 fpv controller for avata 2, so since I’ll have a separate set up on a scale airplane how would I know to record when I just have my goggles connected to air unit.

So in this video i was just powering the air unit with balance connector i soldered on the other end comming from the air unit. Then the goggles v2 i would bind them to the air unit and then i can see things like the dji overlay showing the air unit mbps and the record time. But i just press rec button on the goggles and make sure setting in the air unit are to record both air unit and goggles. Then just record and fly and the video will record on both air unit and goggles. Although i was not arming the air unit. It had to stay close range with that old setup. 😅

@TNT_FPV yessir, you definitely can print a whole plane if you want to. ive printed fpv gimbles and tons of plane parts over the past year . I use tinkercad for 3d modeling. Its free and it can export in stl. You will enjoy the 3d printing hobby. ✅️

@TNT_FPV Hey bro, thanks. The jets are easier than warbirds, turns out. I been enjoying the ease of flying and when the weather is good im trying to get out. I been sick about 5 weeks and then got some metal in my eye. So im just taking these things 1 problem at a time. 😅✅️ keep posting aswell, ill be popping in to check on the flights aswell. ✈️ 🫡

Thanks Bro, I would like to fly fpv with you one day. If we were closer i would let you try them out on your setup. 👏 And yes if you wanna change up to G3s, Ill tell you its night and day difference. the FOV is really not noticeable, unless you fly all day every day you may notice something that i don't. But I feel like i see more, due to the screen being alittle sharper picture and i can see all edges of screen clearly. The goggles 3 will not disappoint in comfort either as they are much more comfy imo.

@ That’s really good to hear. I know you liked your V2 goggles. I’ll probably pull the trigger soon on them since you recommend them. I agree. We need to figure a way to meet up some time and fly.

@salisburyrc yeah that would be awesome to get some tips off you aswell. 🫡 I think you will be impressed with the g3. I also like the controls are almost identical. Including video pass thru to see the field outside without pulling them off. 🫡

@ I actually haven’t flown my ASW 28 yet. Just every time I try to move it with the wings on, the winglets get caught on something. It’s really great to see how well the plane flies. I’m using 1.3 GHz analog FPV, and I have my camera mounted in the same position on the tail. I can’t wait to fly it.

I've been spending time fixing my HT pan servo drift issue also about to maiden a Cirrus sr22t eflite with Timber floats i finally finished up building. looking foward to some water action again. How about you? everything been good?

@Jmnp08 Thanks! Yeah, you definitely should do it if you enjoy planes. its alot of fun and expensive, although if you dont already fly rc planes, it's all about learning to fly first. Then you can add a camera and goggles and make it even more fun. Although even small planes are expensive if you crash them you can download Realflight simulator on pc and practice flying rc planes. 👏🫡

@Whip_Productions thanks for checking it out, the timber evo umx is gonna be too small to run the dji o3 but maybe a smaller analog setup. I actually love the 1.5m timber evo. But then, go grab any of your favorite 1-meter scale size plane or larger for best performance and fun and connect up to dji o3 and goggles. Some wiring and modification are required to install the camera and components in a mount of some kind but its all good fun learning along the way.

@@Streetreaper89 so are you saying that the battery is too small to run the o3 air unit or it doesn’t have enough thrust to carry it?

@Whip_Productions yes i think both of those situations is going be cut it close. The plane may not fit an o3 air unit on it without compromising the ability to fly and also dont quote me, the o3 input power required may be around 8 or 9v to 25v

@celaleddinozer144 Hello Pilot, great to hear you are interested in fpv. Its a great experience to add to your skills. You may want to try out the Dji system or theres many other good systems like hd zero, walksnail and runcam. I dont know what setup would be easiest. This setup i used Inav software which is open source free and theres lots of video help from other people. But i would say you may enjoy the setup like Motionsic or Fpvdogfights.com which may allow you to use your current radio and reciver system. 👏 cant wait to see when you switch to fpv.

@mizz9841 Thanks pilot 🫡 this plane is sorta floaty, so it's much more ease of stress than the f16. Also about half weight of the v1 f16. And yes, i would love to keep flying at ama location, unfortunately i was a part of a club, and both areas i flew did not allow Fpv without a spotter per ama rules, even tho im ama member i dont have any spotter unless i hire someone. There is permission in some of the spots i fly like this location. If i like the location, I'll do my best to make sure i have full permission to fly. 👏🫡🫡

@mizz9841 Yeah, if you havent got one yet, now is the time. 💯I HIGHLY recommend it bc of how much control you have and the gear are great. I haven't done grass takeoff, but you can also land belly in soft grass and no scratches or damage. Also, i upgraded the motor and fan and found no significant difference. I really like the f22 i may grab a 2nd one here soon make one 12s or v2 F16 model. Ive had only a few rough landings 😅 and it was actually no problem for the gear on the 22. Im satified already in the quality. Now i have had around 67 flights with 6000 mah zee battery. Today i flew 5 packs, i collected 7 flights yesterday ,and 7 day before that. Its addicting to fly this model. 🤣😆
