The Best Way to Remove Sticky Burr Seeds from Clothing
I do, especially if they leave dirt mounds in my yard on public display, make my yard uneven with all their tunnels, and kill my trees by cutting through their roots.
I just like the charlie Brown music 🎵🎶
😁
Beautiful
They are!! 😀
I'm about to embark on this journey. Thanks for the tips
👏
Creeping Virginia!
Yes. Virginia Creeper is, I believe, a native vine but their growth is really vigorous!
It's all relative to where you live as to whether it's invasive or not
Yes, I think that’s a good factor!
@@babochon here in the UK there's a clear distinction, you can look up plant lists noted as invasive to your area, obviously a plant can be invasive when it has certain growing conditions when elsewhere it might be entirely timid. It seems like a general list of invasive plants could be very misleading, given our basic understanding of how plants change in different environments. I believe in the US, you also have official list of plants that are noted as being invasive in particular areas.
Hog
🤔
Ground hog
🤔
Crane
😁
❤😢
Exactly
primrose are not a weed when you kill them, you kill the eco system they have no tap root and are easily managed with intermittent thinning ruclips.net/video/iCL5Tetg2S4/видео.htmlsi=zQzC5DqTyx7QZLMB
Granddaddy longleg
Thank you so much. Just searched for it. Another name is “harvestmen” 😀
that’s a cool spider!!
It is a very cool looking one for sure 👍
Very nice it looks like you put a lot of effort into it it's very beautiful🎉❤😂
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a work in progress. Wanted to have something unique.
Not enough water? Sun may have wilted it aome
I have been giving enough water there though. It seems some sort of bacterial wilt 😞
Always a delight to see these sweet ladies busy at work in my garden
😀👍
Creeping Charlie is the worst around here. Lamium is really bad too. They need to ban invasive ground covers for sale.
Totally agree 👍
Looks like tomato blight or tomato disease
Yes. I removed all affected leaves. The fruits seem OK.
Borage.
They are a prolific self seeder. But you can easily manage it, I think.
Great!! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
Sorry about the typo - “Gooseneck Loosestrife”
Zitronenmelisse
Yes, it is another herb rodents hate.
Spreads like crazy. Mint weeds everywhere
Yes, they grow so well and fast. I contain it and cut down regularly
Is that stinging nettle ?
No, it is mint
My god those flowers dry up in a day cant even see them
The flowers don’t last long. A day or two. You get some cleanup to do. 😅
It’s anemone nemorosa ‘alba plena’ (wood anemone).
Yay!!!! Finally! Thank you so much!!! 👍
Haha. You’re so welcome!
Glad i found this. Gives me an idea as to how fast they grow and how ro space it in the area i want to plant them. Thank you, so helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Are they Korean maple? But looks like Japanese maple to me? Please correct me if
They are very similar in terms of shape and size. The Korean one is hardier.
@@babochonso you are sure you collected Korean maple seeds but not Japanese maple? Thanks
Excellent.
Yes. Easy to make. It has been 3 years. They stand just fine!
This is great. Thanks.
Great. It is not absolutely perfect but should give you some ideas.
It lasted only 3 hours - a squirrel tore it apart. I need to figure out how with other seedlings. Please stay tuned.
Is this the plant they used to make Marshmallows from?
Yes. It was made by grinding up the pulp from the root!
Beautiful
They are. But one thing! They spread really fast.
how do you keep from cutting your hands and arms on the edges?
It has been a few years. It has not happened. Should I say “not yet”? 😁
No
🤔
Droppings of caterpillars
I think you are right. When I broke one of them, it looked like a dropping
I was recently given a catalpa tree. After much research, i concluded that the beauty of it was worth the troubles. At this time, i'm battling the transplant process. It is holding it''s own at this time. The leaves have drooped slightly, but I'm confident that i can revive it. I can't wait until it blooms. The flowers look magnificent!🎉
Yes. They can adapt all sorts of soil. I am sure it can do well in the end. My tree bloomed. It’s amazing
I heard that young tree would not bloom for few years. Is that true? I saw one very mature tree recently. It was beautiful. Found name, collected seeds, planted them couple days ago and they germinated already. Wow! But I decided to order one online 2-3 y.o. to expedite the process. Also like Redbud trees
good job yall! takes a lot of effort to have all those plants growing in so nicely, you did great :)
Thank you so much! 😊
❤😂❤
I know it doesn’t look good. By the way, this is a pear tree shoot.
I worked at lowes abd 1 year alone w ehad to throw out 60k worth of plants i know it was 60k because at in of the year inventory check we were missing a lot of plants in the nursery. Apparently the new manager for nursery didnt know you had to cycle count them out of the system. But we would throw away so many still living plants and id come and take the good ones i wanted from the dumpster until one of the managers caught me and told me not to do it anymore. After that i had my freind Austin do it for me good times
Thanks for sharing the story of yours.
😢
They are actively asking for more food. The finch pair are really busy for fetching food. For a few weeks, my family are not able to use the front door because of these guys. Hope they grow fast 😀
Absolutely beautiful ❤
🙏
good to know, but they're like a couple other plants in my garden (mint, buttercups, etc.) so I'll just keep them pruned, thanks!!!
They are also spreading through rhizome. Pruning prevents spreading through seeds only.
Only works briefly from my experience. I finally just bought some predator scent animal repellent. Works fantastic.
All these need to be re-applied after rain. I started co-planting something they don’t like. For example, I planted “Brunnera,” which deer hate, with “Hosta,” which they love. I stopped seeing their attacks on “Hosta.”
No, it doesn't work....never did but, it sold a lot of Irish Spring soap!
😁
I tried this method but I think the smell wears off quicker Instead I cut it up put it in a mesh bag and place it near plants as to not expose it too much to elements
Does it work? I tried it once. But because of that issue you raised here, I stopped doing so.
Girl those are ants farming aphids, literally sucking the life outta yout plants
You are right. I didn’t see them till now
Their so very important.
I agree ☝️
❤where is it? So pretty
Of course, in my garden. 😀
Raspberries took over my backyard with runners everywhere and going into my neighbors' yard.
Yes, some types of raspberries and blackberries are invasive. I had the same ordeal in my backyard with a raspberry.
