I filed the ITR on July 7th. Instead of filing ITR2, I made a mistake of filing ITR1 for which I got a Defective notice 139(9). I agreed to the notice and corrected the ITR by responding to the notice(json upload) on 8th July. When I checked the status today, on the dashboard it's still showing as a Defective. But when I check the pending items on e-proceedings, there is no pending item. Question 1: Should I wait a little longer for it to get corrected? Question 2: Or should I just go ahead and refile ITR 2 revised? Thanks much in advance!

Mam in case of salaried persons, who has f &o income/turnover from f&o below 2.5 lakhs, but salary income is more then 2.5 lakhs , then will they come under section 44aa? I mean f &o income is less then even 1 lakh, but overall income from other non busienss sources like salary is more then 2.5, in that case what happens??

Defective Return ka notesh aa tha leken uska deu det nekl gaya hai ab usk kayese dubara vare

if updated return becomes invalid then my rectification filed prior to updated return and processed by CPC will be valid ornot. Whether rectification will be considered final order or not if updated return becomesinvalid Please reply Thanks

Madam, while filing itr2, I selected the option : Taxable income is more than basic exemption limit BUT my taxable income is below the exemption limit, should I need to revise my ITR or leave it as such. Please reply.

Madam, I am filing ITR in new regime and in form 10e colomn 1 of total income of previous year, should I show the taxable income as per new or old tax regime.

Mam maine 10e form bhar dia hai but woh automaticall figure le nahi raha hai ITR bharte waqt..

Thank you very much. I was facing problem in registering to Traces website as it was showing problem in my name, dob and option 1 of verification. I looked at lot of videos for a solution. But most of the videos are just waste of time because they are telling what we can already see in those fields. When filing ITR-U can i file, FORM 10IE. For example, if in this July i want to file AY 2023-24, so can i now select new tax regime as not the new regime before

Maine customer care se baat kiya..ITR wala... Unhone bola revised return file kar diya hai.. To respond karne ki jarurat nahi hai. www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/faqs/response-defective-notice-1399 Yaha bhi likha hai.. Ki aap revised return file kar sakte hai..
