I’m a little concerned that you finish videos so quickly. I think you might be skipping the essential step of planning out what shots you want to use in advance, and revising multiple times so that you don’t simply post your first draft. I usually spend a whole day at my own pace writing out what visuals I want to put over every lyric. I understand if you may feel like that’s inefficient or holding you back, but I think you might benefit from taking longer to create and refine your videos!

Hi! I just finished watching all the RWBY AMVs you uploaded recently. If I may provide the feedback you’ve requested, I’d first like to start by saying that you’re quite promising! You have a strong grasp of matching the motion of visuals to the pacing of the song, and in general you keep the speed of clips consistent. However, I am concerned that you don’t seem to employ a very wide range of footage in your videos; you seem to have a few moments from a few fights you like to pull from, and haven’t yet been able to explore further. I don’t know if this is because you simply don’t have access to all the episodes, or if you just need more time to experiment, but either way, I’m sure that with more experimentation, you’ll be able to widen your boundaries and create amazing things!
