Will the r211s be assigned to the N,Q and W lines

Why can’t they just add some r160s for the Q/W/N trains?… like I haven’t rode one since 5 years from now :(

I know The R46 Has Been In Service for years Since 1975 But Sometimes They No AC and the doors doesn't close properly

The not in service R160s here are usually going to 95th st (last stop for the R) for the morning 6 min rush hour service. I think they switch tracks at 36th st but not too sure. Unfortunately, not for the N train :(

It has now been a year since someone complained to me about sneezing while I was in the middle of filming! Thank god I filmed her to show who yelled at me before she will never be seen again. She was complaining at 6:48 in the video

In my opinion I would say Heck No and Never why because the N Q and W Trains already have good equipment because if there are No R160s on those lines then there is a 50/50 chance that the R160s could eventually go back to the A Train again because the A Train hasn’t had R160s in a long time now

Probably not since makes no sense for the 5-car R160s to leave Jamaica Yard and mess up the fleet uniformity along Queens Blvd. The NQW lines will likely get R211s in a few years, but I think we’ll have to wait until the option order cars arrive since the majority of the base order of R211s has to be assigned to the A and C lines (460 cars) for 8th Avenue CBTC.

No. Any spare sets not needed on Queens Blvd will run on the A line. It's nothing but 46's and 68's for the time being. Don't expect the 211's to replace any R46's running on the BMT until the option order. 8th Ave is next up for CBTC and the 46's on the A/C must go first.

They probably won't as of right now. These R160's are mostly transfers and or school trains. School Trains are for newly hired Operators and Conductors

There are like 2 trains on the n&q. most of the time they get put on the R anyhow.

Not likely at the moment. . The A and C are scheduled to receive the first R211 subway cars. The E and R will be next. The B and D will get the last batch. Anything left over that will be spread all over the system. The J line R179 are getting CBTC equipment installed...the AC line is getting CBTC equipment under the new cars,with the R211 being equipped upon arrival. The car shuffle will definitely occur,but no time soon. We gotta wait and see what's gonna shake loose from dept of blah blah blah you know the drill.
