Ken…keep in mind the customers of Grand Strand Water Authority or Darlington County water and Sewer Authority do not choose board members or if they do it’s some sort of pre determined proxy vote decided by the existing leadership or legislative delegation…I have been a customer of the latter for 25 years and never voted or Have been asked to vote for representation…Grand Strand bought out Marion and Mullins water for their water source to pump to Grand Strand several years ago when they figured their surface water source Bull Basin would not keep up with growth.

City Manager needs to be vetted again and we should bring his ass out of his seat. Operator A did nothing wrong. And they'll tell us all about the levels of biological infiltration. However, no one will answer my questions about that "sediment" that infiltrated the system. What metals, minerals, salts, and nonbiological materials? Elderly people, immunocompromised, and medication taking people can ALL be at risk for health impact from more metals i.e. lead. I had a hell of a lot of medical issues around this whole time. I'd also like to know what the minutes of that executive closed door session was. Contractual matter? I'm assuming they meant the idiots that built our system and they pay to not care about maintenancing.

Here's how you fix it. Move to an community that doesn't have these kinds of issues...ALL the time.

Great interview. I randomly met Rick at One Stop Party Shop when he was in the initial stages of starting the store by Bucee's. They need to put a cap on NIL to make it fair across the board! Also there needs to be a limit for their respective class Sophomore, Juniors etc... I don't think its right High School players can come right in negotiating NIL and have not proved themselves! Freshman should not get it im sorry! My opinion!

I was honored to work with McCall farms for over 30 years in all areas of the company. I spent many years in the packaging department working closely with Marion. Henry and Marion always made me feel like I was a part of the company not an employee. When the packaging department was getting the best of me I could always call on Marion to help get things back to going. He always had his pliers, screwdriver, and wrench in his pocket and an eye for spotting the problem. There is nowhere on earth that I could have enjoyed working as much as I did with the Swink Family. Since retiring I have enjoyed several days on the beautiful Lynches River with Marion and hope to spend more in the future. Thanks for allowing me to be part of the McCall Farms Family. Met Tim thru John Chavis and Dick Brown in the Amway business. And Tim is definitely right when he says that we all became friends for life and learned alot from each other and leaders in the business and how to be the best Men and leaders we could be and how to serve others. Great to hear his story which is alot like mine. One thing for sure about Tim , Dick Brown, John Chavis , and myself. You can't keep us down for long cause we are going to find a way to win in life no matter what happens to us. Tim will always be a huge asset to my home town's community in Florence.
