How you going to put all Action, Adventure, and Action Adventure games in one category. That's a mess. That could easily be multiple categories, especially since several of the subgenres are already categories.

I will say there's some deserved critiques of Dawntrail in FFXIV but a lot of the backlash consisted of calling the main character they introduced as woke lamat so..take some of it with a grain of salt. (her name is wuk lamat btw) If you played stormblood though it's a very similar expansion but with better looking zones. Personally I enjoyed it but I didn't think stormblood was bad either 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'd say DT like 7 or 8/10 especially as a whole new direction for the game narratively.

I stopped paying attention to reviews when back when I would buy gaming magazines and all the games with multipage spreads were games I didn't care about and always got 9 or 10s and the games I was curious about were in a little square because the were more niche. Plus, scores are largely useless. Today I do follow a few reviewers, but I know they like similar games to me, so if they recommend something I am more likely to also like it. But I think things like Metacritic are worthless. Sadly there are people that think if a game doesn't get a Metacritic score of 9 or 10 than it is terrible and the worst thing since E.T..

It's so irritating when trying to find reviews and even when a game is actually bad half the time the discussion is just about how woke it is so it's bad or how not woke it is and that means it's good. These guys have the nerve to say BG3 isnt woke and so it deserves its acclaim but Dragon Age is so woke and THAT'S why it's bad not all the actual issues with it. They both have similar "woke" mentions in the game, you can't even take the grift at face value. They just be saying shit 😂

I'm loving Daima right now. Bit of a slow burn, but a ton of fun. The new lore is interesting loving that and the sense of adventure. The bar fight in episode 3 made me think of a Jackie Chan fight. You can feel Toriyama's spirit in the work and I think that adds something to it as a fan. I am a fan of cell animation, but I think this looks really good. Super was always to shiny and the auras looked like garbage, but this looks clean. I hope the series just gets better so Toriyama can go out on a high note. I agree about Goku going on about Warp-sama being a goldfish. Like the first I was like okay, but then he just kept it up and it was like, Oh I hope we don't give Goku the Super treatment. That's been the only scene so far that made me feel that though. It's been pointed out by others that Glorio is a Han Solo type. I have a feeling that the gun is something more than just a gun, or at least that guns will be a rare thing. I feel like it got set before Super because it was originally going to just be a side story that Toei was going to put out as a webtoon before Toriyama got on board, so they might have not wanted to conflict with setting it around Super or GT. Nothing to back that up, just my feeling on it. This might also be why it has an odd amount of episodes. Yeah, I had to double check the Kai/Kabito thing too. They are fused at the start of Super and GT. Oh well. They might be holding off on Super so that it's not competing for attention with Daima, but hard to say. Would be cool for it to comeback after Daima. Shenron: "New balls, who dis?" I feel like or hope we get a re-unlocking of Super Saiyan scene. And not one that is just a redraw of him doing it on Namek like Gohan with beastmode. The eye makes me thing of Hiei. I think Gomah was going to use the eye to give Neva the 1000 years, because he said he might give the third wish to Degesu. I'm with you on wanting Super to explore the other universes. Such a missed opportunity. They are in the third realm. Glorio is from the third realm, but he works in the first realm doing "this and that". Kaioshin's people are from the second realm. And Glorio implies some classism between the two. Yeah, ToP in Super said that universe 7 was one of the least populated of the universes. I hope that Gohan makes an appearance. He would be around the age he was on Namek I believe. Screw Roshi looking like krillin, he looks like Saitama. 18 and 17 are more Cyborgs, in Japanese they are just call artificial humans, but Toriyam has stated they were a brother and sister Gero just kidnapped and modified. The outro is not on model and a lot of the scenes are references to scenes in GT's intros and outros. So that might be what is going on there. I think we will get more. We have Toyotarou and Akio Iyoku, who knows what those to could do to keep the series going.

Say what you want about Nintendo consoles being "underpowered", but at least they are priced better. Maybe if the PS5 Pro was $500 with out the disk drive, that might be okay. The stand being sold separately is just a dick move though. Yeah you can't build a PC with a 4070 for $700, but $700-900 can build you a decent mid range gaming PC, and if your willing to use used parts you might be able to build something really good.

Guys, the reason why there aren't grannies in hero shooters and action games in general is because putting elder people in action games (or movies for that matter) is stupid and the last Indiana Jones disaster (and Borderlands flop too) proved it. There is nothing wrong with elder characters in games but they need the right context, they don't make any sense in an action game. And even if we want to ignore the point above, the fact that the best character design in this game is a old woman shows plenty of garbage the character design of this game is.

And honestly if that's all he was I wouldn't even be that mad. But they also made him the dumbest mf to walk the earth. There was SO MANY scenes where Britannia tries to kill Suzaku and he is for some reason ok with it? Why? Isnt the goal to reform the image of the Japanese? How are you going to do that when you are dead? But at least Zero goes down with you huh? The most atrocious writing was when Suzaku found out about Lelouches geass and went off on him for manipulating people then what does he do? He takes him to Lelouches father (the king). What does his father do? Uses a geass power to wipe his memories. And not ONCE did Suzaku think "gee this guy is a powerful dictator AND has a geass power? Could this be part of the reason why he is so powerful?"... Then later that season there's character that was around Suzaku alot that had their mind wiped and Suzaku was STRUGGLING to piece it together.... Like what? YOU KNOW WHO IT IS.
