IMHO, the singer was right to speak out about the judges being immature and disrespectful! It wasn’t the time for them to be laughing, and as grown as they were they should’ve known better. Mr. Brigham should’ve called them out for being unprofessional at an audition. It wasn’t time for them to giggle. That had no place at an audition. in order for it to be made clear, the auditors/interviewers SHOULD NOT laugh under these circumstances. Laughter is inappropriate, irresponsible and unprofessional. Because of their behavior, they should NEVER be considered to advise singers or audition them. Kim Burrell is being out of sorts, and Donnie is on that same train! They are both playing a game with Christianity, and, somehow, they seem to be carrying themselves as if they still don’t need to work out their own souls’ salvation. Burrell was lying. I don’t care if she had made her mind up while she was singing. She should stay silent until she was given a space to give the singer a critique. When she said that his attention should’ve been focused on the one who was talking to him, the question was HOW? HOW could the one who was auditioning listen to what Kiera was saying when you have Donnie and Kim giving a belly laugh like that. It was sophomoric! People could have fun at these events, and I know it is not always easy to suppress a laugh. But, they need to be more mature and find a way to do so and comport themselves as respectable Christian leaders. [NOTE: Kim’s sassiness and being unapologetic when she puts her size 12 in her mouth, also, does nothing to help her brand or her image.]
