My personal recommendation: build both a 3rd story and a basement ! The basement doesn't need to be a walkout...not sure why so many in Charlotte want walkout basements (besides the marginal convenience). A fully subterranean basement is the way to go.

I have a legitimate question for all of them unsolicited a**holes: "If I sell my house to you, where in the world will I live then?" Seriously, for the amount they are willing to pay me, I can't possibly buy a house just like it. Then again, if I rent an apartment, the entire dollar amount I once received for my house will be gone in a dozen years or so... I just stopped answering the phone, except for the callers I know.

Difficul to find arcade one up in europe

I own 15 Arcade1up machines and 2 full-size arcade machines. They all look new and work well.

I have the Mortal Kombat 2 Midway Classics arcade one up. The part you said about turning them on, and just listening to them, I hate how that game cabinet no matter which game you said it on, after three or four plays through the demo, the sound turns off. My other three arcade 1ups don’t do that. Glad to see I’m not the only one who just likes to let them play sometime, so it sounds like you’re in an arcade

Ive only played Arcade 1ups at a failed Barcade near me. All the buttons and controls feel too loose. Too many options with mame arcade cabinet's with 1000s of games to spend money on these kiddie arcades.

Nice stuff! Picked up a Pac-Mania cab for Christmas. Big hit with my family. Made me go out and get Big Blue SF2 for the online multiplayer. ✌️

The best is SF2 for the button layout. I replaced the sticks and buttons and added a raspberry pi.

You should try their latest cabinets from their Deluxe/XL line. As you mentioned, the newest Street Fighter 2 (Deluxe) is crazy arcade accurate

Ive made this comment before but yellow bat tops complete that SFIi legacy cab. Its a cheap investment for you'll see what I mean.

I'm watching your video and noticed that you haven't updated your firmware for you NBA Jam cab. Man they've done like 3 or 4 updates since that screen you showed. The updates haven't really been anything worth doing though. One is to make all cabs work with the shaq edition. Another was to add the voice chat feature which allows players to talk to each other. Codemystics still hasn't updated any players or rosters so you really don't have to do the update cause you're not missing anything. I liked it when it had the bottom box on the main screen of 'your availability' which they removed with the update.

You have arcade 1 ups in your house not arcades trust me you don’t want any arcades in your house their very heaven very huge that can’t fit into your car you’ll need a truck that has a trailer that’s how I got them in 1994 that was when the consoles sucked played really bad I was shopping for arcade games but the one thing I didn’t know was that they break they don’t break just once they keep on breaking of you tell some to come over to your house to fix them they will charge you $100 just to look at them without repairing them then comeback another day to fix them so if you got no truck stay away from arcade games

Nice video, I have the general same emotional feelings about the cabs I have. I bought the family 3 arcade1ups for Christmas. I think I want the AT games eventually. We have foosball as well. My kids are older but my daughter likes them.

I used the Furniture risers on my ATgames pinball, works great! I purchased some risers from BuyStuffArcade but it's the expensive way to do the same thing. I built a few risers using there's as a template and black melamine boards. Turned out great after I figured out what blades to use without chipping the melamine and how to apply and cut edging. Now I'm a pro and make all my risers lol.

I was on the fence, probably going to pull the trigger and get the Marvel vs Capcom 2 cabinet. Has X-men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 2. Great reviews Thanks!

I'm from Charlotte and it has become a parking lot with traffic. Too many people are here now...more cars is not needed...and housing has gone bezerk in price. 600k use to be Myers park, ballantyne on the golf course, providence rd...now, 600k gets you a 350k house. Charlotte is overcrowded now.

Asheville has a lot of culture Raleigh-Durham has a culture, especially with sports. I'm from Fayetteville Nc and we have a military culture. Charlotte's problem is that it is new. It is a new city and not as old as the other Nc cities. Charlotte's culture to me is the corporate business sector. I can say that there is a lot of Black culture in Charlotte. Charlotte is still finding its identity because it is new.

I've lived in Charlotte for 3yr and don't see myself leaving. Charlotte is "poetic justice". A city full of creative people, whether transplant or locals. It's like a canvas prepped for a master piece with the clause; too be continued.. literally.( reflection of it's continued growth).

The prices will drop. The interest rate going up will not save you much on purchase. People will not buy due high interest rate. Economy is so bad.

I agree, the prices have not fell enough. I think people buying right now are making the worst purchase high price and high rate. I think you are spot on about Q4, there will be a drop. Myself, I see about a 30% drop, mainly due to the level of rapid increase. Pretty soon you will see heavy levels of inventory in both the resale market as well as the new home market, which like you outlined, were contributing factors. The only point I’d disagree with, maybe I heard it wrong, but new home builders didn’t dictate much of a price increase as the housing market was going up, I remember a lot builders telling me they were staggering their increases to try to keep up with resale the market. However, I do think that the new home builders will control the prices going down, for the main reason you stated, they want to get rid of that inventory, forcing people selling their homes to decrease their price to compete. I know Lennar has already started lowering their home prices. Anyway sorry to go on so long final point to back up my reasoning for a heavy drop. You saw average increases of about 8% in home value from 2010 to 2019 and then a jump to almost 100% in 2021 (mainly due to scarcity and low rates.) So you saw a 200K house jump to 400K when in all actuality it’s worth 235K, I don’t think it’ll come down that low but I could see it going down to 280K. All in all some people are going to lose money. I prefer to buy at a low price high rate, you’ll always be able to refinance at a lower rate but that price stays constant. Great work brother.
