I am somewhat different from the average youtube visitor (at least, that's what I think), because I am not very young anymore and female. Until 2002, I couldn't imagine why people wanted to have a videocamera. But than we went on our honeymoon to the Gambia and there we met two nice ladies from Amsterdam who filmed and sent us the movie. Whow! You could really bring your vacation to life! And since that moment we wanted to have a videocamera. A year later, we bought one and my husband wanted to be able to make a real montage of it. So he bought the program Pinnacle. After I saw what you can do with it, I didn't allow him to use it again and since that moment, I am addicted to making little films about everything I encounter in my life. Most of them are with family, so I don't put them on the internet. But more anonymous films will follow!

Een schoolvriend woonde in die flat naast de schouwburg. Mooie woningen en alles lekker kort bij.
Ik mis de fonteintjes einde vd promenade. Als je bergaf ondergronds richting t stadhuisplein ging.

Net 2 jaar geworden...super...even terug in de tijd...geen rondzwervend afval door de jeugd toen was nog normen en waarden en respect naar ouderen...

Echt super mooi om Heerlen te zien van vroeger. Zijn er nog meer beelden van Heerlen in die tijd maar dan de woonwijken zoals Beersdal, Meezenbroek, Heerlerbaan, Hoensbroek, enzovoorts?
Ik heb geen beelden van andere wijken dan Heerlen, buiten de filmpjes van Hoensbroek uit die tijd. Die staan hier ook onder de playlist De oude doos. Dit zijn filmpjes gemaakt door 2 tantes van mij die inmiddels al een tijd geleden overleden zijn...
Misschien was dat nu niet, maar liefde is wel: Samen pootje baden, en samen kopje onder gaan. 😊🎉💝

I had a Thai travel brochure from an asian festival I went to in Florida. Finally on my 6th visit to Thailand I went to Sukhothai in 2008. I took the bus from Mo Chit bus station in Bangkok. It was a beautiful 6 hour ride, with a stop for lunch. So nice to look out the window. I spent 3 days in Sukhothai. I did not venture into the city much. I went to the park two days. Beautiful. My hotel was basic but only 240 baht a night.
