I love the representation that Mirabel is the butterfly shown getting burned, she was yearning for the warmth and care of the thing everyone else adored (the candle and Abuela’s love) and ended up getting burned in the process being hurt physically and mentally by the thing that everyone else seems to love

I love how Luisa really cares about Mirabel the most + when that fact someone said Mirabel is a curse she was mad. Isabella and Dolores agreed with Mirabel that the magic was a curse and freed from their gifts, and the fact Isabella was so agreeing on Mirabel’s side when she knows it was hell for her life being perfect and Camilo wanted to comfort her just like what Antonio did

People dont talk about how Antonio was Mirabels main reason for being happy. Sure she was happy, but he was a little bean that made the pain Alma gave her go away (kinda) thats the gifr little kids give people, ever lasting joy even in the darkest of days.
