it kinda sounds like a dorian mood playing around D minor ... but with the C Major or A minor notes indeed... The blues scale is just a color ... inevitable color i feel like saying but who cares ?

i do agree but don't worry my friend : "musicians & real people know ... they know and love what Rick Wright has played ... i fell in love with the Rhodes because OF him. Many more crushes after him but he is THE one. Not to forget the recording mixing engineer which of course is master touch on just every single song.

Of course Waters had his dark sides of course ... who wouldn't after such master pieces till the wall with the band ? Waters has a heavy past inside ... you just have to read what he wrote to understand the deepest searches in human soul. Very few are able to write the way he did ... they did. And to mention another well known person, somehow Mark Knopler has this deep search in his lyrics too. I guess there do is some to get crasy at some medical point of view. Especially if you had all the "lick-ass" people behind your back 24 hours a day telling you "you're the best" ... add drugs, sex & rock & roll and there you have a nice cocktail filled with dynamite that you swallow with so much enjoyment .... there was some to get nuts my friend ... including treating people like shit as you said.

Around 2010 there was another attempt in that particular groove and at that time, Paco Sery was also on drums. Richard Bona on bass. The song is "Indiscretions" ... same wood as this track here ...

j'ai eu du bol de râler un coup car glgle me l'avait supprimé pour atteinte aux droits d'auteur ou un truc du genre. Or il n'y a pas beaucoup d'enregistrements en bonne qualité de cette vidéo et de ce titre en particulier. Donc merci à eux qu'elle soit finalement là au bout du compte.

Ciao Paolo. Sono d'accordo con tè; ero e sono ancora un garnde fulminato dai Weather Report, ma quelli con Jaco Pastorius. Io ho visto il famoso documentario sulla vita di Jaco raccontata da chi lo conosceva bene e ci suonava assieme. Ho scoperto che il nostro bravo Joe Zawinul, quando ha visto che Jaco lo superava, ha cominciato a trattarlo molto male, cercava di sminuirlo solo per invidia. Jaco era uno buono e sensibile e chiedeva spesso a Joe cosa ne pensasse della musica che stava scrivendo e suonando (Word Of Mouth). Questo, oltre alla diagnosi di "sdoppiamento della personalità accellerata" di cui soffriva jaco, lo ha poi portato a rifugiarsi nell`alcool. Sinceramente si evince che in pochi hanno cercato di aiutarlo piu di tanto; poi è finita molto male per Jaco. Zawinul era un grande musicista ma pure un grande invidioso nei confronti del MIGLIOR BASSISTA DEL MONDO, nome vero John Francis Anthony Pastorius III. Questa è la verita vera.
