You know how it feels for us to go back and watch the old things we saw when we were young. For those still living who were in it, what is it like for them to watch the old shows. They have memories of being there doing it and all the fun they had. It has to be overwhelming.
I am one of the many with a crush on Jan Smithers, Bailey Quarters. She was so beautiful and is still and her character was shy reserved, but when she found her inner strength WATCH OUT, she became a woman who could hold her own with any guy, and tear them apart if she wanted!!! GaryBailey KingofDarkness God bless her, and God I loved her
I am very surprised after 40+ years, the artists/ labels have not given a deal with this sitcom to replay in reruns so its not too expensive to do.. The music they played is becoming something rare to hear on radio, so being able to play a part of a song/artist/ band of this time I would think might bring more sales again..
I spent 30 plus years in and out of radio and TV stations! I met all kinds of broadcast personalities. This show was beloved in the real radio/TV industry.
Yeah this video is the only thing I’ve seen of bloopers from the show!! Like Johnny breaking off the microphone!! LOL And Bailey about to knock on Carlson’s door and there was supposed to be an explosion but it never happened! That was great! She lost it completely!!!
WKRP was simply a great show. It perfectly captured the collection of the odd, unusual and lovable humanity inside the radio station culture of the day. The plain Bailey set in contrast to the exotic Jennifer. The cliche Herb set in contrast to the eccentric Les. The progressive Andy set in contrast to the traditional Mr. Carlson. The burn out rocker Johnny set in contrast to the smooth Venus. All of these seemingly contrasting individuals woven together to create a show that has stood the test of time
This show should have went on way longer than it did. I don't think they really gave it a chance to grow like they should have.
Based on the movie FM! A cool watch.😎
Terrifically funny show with the biggest single laugh in sitcom history. You know the one.
An absolutely great show. The Thanksgiving episode is iconic. Just great chemistry between everyone in the cast.
Blowing it out with Ted Nugent's "Queen of the Forest"!!
You could tell that you had really made it in television when you had a gag reel, and amazingly, I had never seen this one. Thanks, Hugh.
I've watched pretty much every episode, but I just noticed that Herb could be Mr. Carlson's son. There's a bit of a family resemblance going there.
one of the greatest sitcoms produced and aired. what a cast.
Loved the show, couldn’t wait for the next episode every week. Casting for the show was spot on.
Truly one of the best show TV has ever produced. Wonderful actors and great scripts. Truly ONE OF A KIND.
GREAT TV SERIES. So many pleasant memories! 😊😊

I had never seen bloopers of WKRP before. Thank you 🎭
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO !!!!!!!!! 💯🤙❤️
Had no idea these 70s and 80s sitcoms were so patronizing. Terrible writing, weak lame jokes and over the hill actors.
The idiots at the network that thought it was a good idea to cancel this gift of a show should be as egg on their faces today as they were in 1982.

One. Of my all time favorite shows

More of my childhood memories of tv, came from this show, than any other. Maybe close, is MASH. But, iconic scenes dominate in this show!
Should have gone with that broken Mike. He improvised great.
One of the best shows was the drunk driving reflex test where Johnny's reflexes got faster the more he drank and Venus ends up completely sloshed.
I miss that show, clean enough for kids, entertaining enough for parents.
WKRP...the BEST!❤
Such a well written show. The episode where Venus explains the atom to the kid who has dropped out of school was one of the best WKRP episodes.
So glad I came upon this segment to see the real people behind the TV persona. Absolutely brilliant.

One of my favorite kinds of bloopers is when actors refer to each other by their actual names.
4:53 Bailey definitely not wearing a bra 😜
I've been on air in radio now almost 50 years. And I can tell you that I have worked with every "character" portrayed on this show.
I gre up watching this show. Some eps are run of the mill, some are genius.
They totally should have left that scene in and used it!

Haven’t seen the reruns on tv for a long while!! Miss hearing that good ol rock n roll and soul!!! And of course that Bob Marley song!!
RIP to Gordon, Frank and Johnny Fever!!! All you guys are missed dearly!!!

Hi hi
The best written, and perfectly cast tv show of the late '70's early '80's!
Would have been nice to have this in the DVD box set. Yeesh. Didn't even know it existed.
