I am getting no answers as to my decreased vision. My vision with glasses, is blurred like it used to be without my glasses. The prednisone already tipped me right into insulin dependent diabetes. I have been approved for the steroid sparing injectables. But no one will answer my fears for my vision. I do not see the ophthalmologist again until April. I just want some answers 😢😢😢😢😢

Thank you prof. Hildebrand - your video has convinced us to start a local Timolol treatment of the periocular hemangioma of our daughter. This also with the realisation that it is always possible to upscale (to a systemic treatment) but more difficult to downscale.

Idiopathic is a very frustrating word. My teenage son got choroidal scarring in both eyes from inflammation from an unknown cause. Tested for everything but with no result. 2 years later we are still none the wiser. For a short while his brain tricked him into making his scaring appear smaller, although there were no physical changes. Unfortunately this did not last. The scarring is right in the centre of his focal vision. We are at a loss with NZ specialist. Even though there may not be a surgical solution or some brain manipulation i find your webinar fascinating. If you would like any results or info about his condition please contact me here with a comment. BTW steroids created more scarring. He has bilateral extensive macular scaring which is probably secondary to choroiditis. His and our worlds have turned upside down. If you know of any radical testing please let us know.
