Rehearsed in separate bubbles and put together in a socially distanced recording outside Music, Art and Science. Mr Stokes, Head of Science, came out to give us 'what for' because of the noise and commotion but ended up rather enjoying it; hope you do as well.

The Gordano School Virtual Choir singing The Seal Lullaby. Music by Eric Whitacre with words by Rudyard Kipling. This performance was rehearsed in four sessions of 50 minutes over TEAMS. We then recorded the audio and visuals in the final fifth session using TEAMS, smart phones and ZOOM for the visuals. Editing was in Logic Pro X and iMovie (gotta love 'Ken Burns).

Gordano Choir have been rehearsing in year group bubbles for the Autumn term 2020 (Covid). This was the first time we all came together as a group, overcoming Covid, lockdown II and a self-isolated Dr Humphries. It was a delight to sing such a beautifully poignant piece, to see our choir as a - socially distanced - unified whole, and hear the sound reverberating around the school gym.
