In 2012, crosswalks were added to all 4 sides of the Mill and Army Trail intersection, just that they never added walk signals to the west most crosswalk. It's good to see these finally added but it should've happened 12 years ago when the cross was painted, 5 years ago when the crosswalk was repainted, or even 2 years ago when The Enclave opened.

That rhythm section is TIGHT! Bass and drums are locked in. The two vocalist are not only #finerdenamfff , but their showmanship and Vocals are 100% pro level. Stevie himself is no slouch -pulling off these songs , by that particular artist , is no joke...and the fam would 👏🏾let 👏🏾you👏🏾 have👏🏾 it - if it sounded suspect , so right on for that. I like how arrangements from Stevie's live performances were integrated. The only criticism that I would give is , the way that the guitarist cut his band shirt ( and the shorts ) , just stands out a little too much from the presence of the rest of the group. A truly fantastic player, but with as put together as the front line is , the shabbiness ( not trying to be offensive ) seemed a bit distracting, in my opinion. Again - great player who grooves his behind off - but just 10% more thought in stage presentation ( which , unfortunately , IS part of the business ) would be my only , small critique.

The village should enact their own gas tax so that they don't have to wait for money from the state or the fed for these projects. This would also assist with the subsidization of roads as even with the new state gas tax only 70% of road projects are funded by car fees and taxes. Additionally pedestrian and bike improvements should be part of the Lombard Road North repavement. This section passes two schools, Stone Elementary and Addison Trail High School and leads to lots of traffic due to the rise in the number of students being driven to school. Diversifying the mode share will improve traffic much more than any street design.

Surprised that the Village mentioned the Green Oaks Lawsuit but not surprised that they didn't include that the Village was found in violation of the Fair Housing Act. It also says a lot that no small businesses were mentioned in this video. Instead they made sure to mention the Walmart that the Village has to give tax cuts to persuade them to open there. Housing options are still way short of what they should be in the midst of a housing crisis. This is not the time to be praising the fact that townhomes are going for over $400 thousand and single family homes over $700 thousand. It's difficult to find a single bedroom apartment in the village under $1200. It is also really funny that they didn't even show any pictures of the Village Green Extension. It's not like it took $4.1 million to build and completely destroyed the Town Center Redevelopment Plan that was put on indefinite hold. I assume they couldn't find a good wide shot that didn't have the warehouse or the massive parking lots on frame.
