I use them for pike. My local reservoir has a few back sloughs with spring holes in them full of pads. Big pike stack up in this cool water in the summer eating ducklings, young muskrats, waterdogs, and anything else they can chomp. The silver minnow is one of the few lures that don't get junked up on every cast.

I just purchased a few Johnson spoons for Mexico…. I needed a lure that I can fish in shallow rocks for snapper. I’ll be putting a trailer ( fluke &/or keitech ) trailer on it. Should do the trick🎣

I did not think about adding a rudder when I got my Xi3. figured the remote would be good enough to steer. The more I see the quick connect the more I want to add it to my F12. I just wish Nucanoe would make it more affordable ($400) is a lot for a rudder system. With all of that said, I'll probably go ahead and get it anyway unless Nucanoe would like to donate one to me lol..

Great day out on the water. Thats a huge electric only Reservoir! I bring an extra trolling motor and batteries and a rope to tow jic.....couldn't imagine paddling the jon boat back if something gave up the ghost.
