XBox One 2024 Games Retrospective (I Might be a Forza Fan)
Today, we are looking back at all the XBox One games I played throughout 2024.
If there is one thing I got to re-learn in spades throughout 2024, it's that racing games can be very long games. Because of that, it was difficult to really keep up with any console throughout the year. In fact, as of this recording, I'm still trying to catch myself up with all the games that I've played (and I fell REALLY far behind, I'm not going to lie!)
Still, this video had me favouring one particular franchise. That, of course, was the Forza franchise. Throughout the year, it seemed that people were really interested in watching me play Forza. The good news there is that I also happen to have a lot of fun ...

I Got My Hands on a Nintendo Switch!
Просмотров 73019 часов назад
In continuing the theme of new experiences going into the new year, I decided to talk a little bit about not only my first impressions of the Nintendo Switch, but also showcase some of the games I was able to collect as well up to this point. I know that the Nintendo Switch represented a fundamental difference compared to the other two major console developers at the time. It took it's successf...

It's a new year, so I've decided to expand my horizons yet again. This time, I decided to showcase my brand new console, the Nintendo Switch. I've also decided to do something a little different for this channel. Since unlike the previous consoles, I bought this brand new, I decided to take up the opportunity to do an unboxing video as well. I've never done any unboxing video's, nor did I showc...
Have You Ever Played Call of Duty: WWII? (2017 - XBox One)

We are taking a trip to the year of 2017 when Call of Duty: WWII was released. This video was created for journalistic purposes. I've decided to continue on with the Call of Duty franchise. I have to say, though, I'm almost getting quite a sense of whiplash going from Infinite Warfare and going into this title which is in the past. It really felt like how the older Medal of Honor games played (...
I Got Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 to Work! (2016 - Playstation 4)

We're taking a trip to the year of 2016 to play the Playstation 4 game, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. I didn't exactly get the start I was expecting with this franchise. This thanks to the previous game basically being paywalled after paying for it. However, I wanted to give this franchise another shot. Luckily for me, this game actually had single player gameplay included so I could sho...

We're taking a trip to the year 2012 to play the Playstation 3 game, Assassin's Creed III. I'm carrying on with the Assassin's Creed franchise with a much more recognizable title, Assassin's Creed III. Apparently, some people had no idea that there was a trilogy of games in the early parts of the franchise, so I'm grateful to have informed people that those games do, indeed, exist in the first ...

We are taking a trip to the year of 2016 when Battlefield 1 was released. This video was created for journalistic purposes. I'm continuing on with the Battlefield franchise by trying Battlefield 1. We're taking a trip to the year of 2014 to play the Playstation 4 game, The Evil Within. I will readily admit that this is a game I have heard of, but don't know much more than that. I knew it was a survival horror game, but that's about it. So, why not give this game a try and see what it's like playing, right? So far, it has an interesting style that borrows from Dead space concepts, but I do...

We're taking a trip to the year 2008 to play the Playstation 3 game, Grand Theft Auto IV. One thing I can say for sure is that this was a long time coming. Sooner or later, this is a game I would find myself playing. I would have loved to have played this one sooner, but fitting it into the schedule proved to be difficult. Still, I'm playing it now, and that's what counts, right? Arguably, this...

Playing Forza Horizon 5 After Playing Every Other Forza Horizon Game (2021 - XBox One)
Gears of war judgement is a good game on 360 don’t know if it’s back compat
Backwards compatibility has been a little strange on XBox consoles. Supposedly, Forza Motorsport (first game) was for a time, but suddenly, it wasn't (as of now, it doesn't work on XBox 360 or One). Halo 2 is backwards compatible. I've seen sources say that Gears of War: Judgment is backwards compatible, though I never really got my hands on that as of now.
Xbox one in 2025 is craZ
Doing what I can to catch up to modern gaming at least. Only one generation behind for this video.🙂
Let's go! The Switch is the only console my sister and I have both purchased within its lifetime. We're not exactly rich, but it was actually compelling enough to warrant us buying one each, still second hand though. But we do buy all our games physical, one for getting them cheaper second-hand, also to be able to resell later on in life. Also, the cartridges are kinda cute.
I'm really excited to dive into this library. The good thing about the Switch is that it is actually a much cheaper console than the other current gen consoles. I'm also a huge fan of buying physical. The only drawback to buying physical, that I was able to find, was that a number of titles are digital only. For instance, Cruis'n Blast (I had no idea until recently that games were still being made in that franchise) is a digital only title. It is cheaper than your average title, but it is digital only. So, when you go physical only, there are titles that will become unavailable to you. Still, having the physical title, in theory anyway, means that if the game gets delisted from the digital store, you still have access to the game anyway. It's one of the big reasons I went the physical copy rout despite the drawback of not having access to the full library of games.
I bought 5 million ps2s yesterday
Mario kart?
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came with the Switch (kind of forgot that it wasn't shown in the video. Whoops.)
Zelda games can last up to 100 hours +
I remember the N64 Zelda games taking a number of hours to play through, so I'm not entirely surprised that's the case. I've done 100+ hour games before (Fallout 4, Might & Magic 6), so I'm rally curious to see how those games shape up.
Great Switch game collection. Highly suggest Smash Ultimate or Fire Emblem Engage which is much more streamlined than I felt 3 Houses was
Going to be on the lookout for other Fire Emblem games at the very least.
Switch 2 is coming soon and will play Nintendo Switch 1 games L
That's a good thing. Doesn't make switch 1 irrelevant. IF anything switch 1 will probably become even cheaper.
Switch 2 is obviously on the to-do list for whenever it comes out. Considering I largely went in order of release years for reviews starting with the Atari 2600 (on my freezenet.ca site), making it this far is something I consider to be a massive accomplishment.
great work big boss
Thanks!😁
I love collecting physical games, Game Boy systems are my favorites for the simple fact, game on cartridge is full game, and its going to work as they did 20-30 years ago, no download patches or dlc or anything that you could be missing down the line if the nintendo store goes down in the future. As for the Switch, Im also collecting games, buying used is the way to go or just dont buy games at release and wait for a discount. few game suggestion for Switch : Snow Runner (just a different kind of driving experience), No Man's Sky (game is getting constant new updates), Dragon Dogma (can use other players pawns), Outward (2 player split screen option for added fun factor)..
Nice suggestions! No Man's Sky was something I was about to get in a previous shopping trip, but ended up getting Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 2 and 3 because they weren't in until that day. I have Dragons Dogma 1 on the PS3 already, but Dragon's Dogma 2 is definitely on my radar. Hadn't heard of Outward, though, so I'll probably look into it. As of this writing, still collecting games, so I appreciate the suggestions!😄
xbox1 is a pile of shit.
I love this kind of videos, so relaxing
Glad you liked it! This was an experiment to see if people would react positively to a no commentary video. So far so good it seems. May do more of these in the future.
My Xbox has stopped working, any time I turn it on it either will just shut right off, or will play for a bit then shut off,
That's unfortunate. A part of me wonders if there is some sort of heating issue or something. Have you looked in to what kind of repair services are out there to fix it? I know if you're buying a separate console, you're probably looking at some $200+ for that. While not a fantastic price, it's not terrible for a whole console, either. If I remember right, the XBox One has saves backed up in their cloud services, so maybe you'd be able to restore your save data with another console? Otherwise, it's probably a better option to have someone look at it because that would probably save you some headaches.
Congratulations on getting a Switch. Nintendo had a hit with this console. I am interested in seeing how the Switch 2 will perform later this year. I also want more gaming companies to do things like the Switch. Especially Sony.
Yeah, getting the Switch partly felt like I was going back to more familiar territory. I grew up with the SNES and N64, so I was happily playing through those libraries for years. I heard great things about the Switch, so I was quite excited to see what this console had to offer. Now I'm going to. Yeah, I think there is a lot of anticipation of what the successor console might be able to offer. Given the success of the Switch, it's probably not a surprise people are excited for it. It sort of reminds me of the anticipation to the N64 when it was simply known as Project Dolphin. There was a LOT of excitement for what the next console generation was going to bring to Nintendo fans.
Call of Duty goes back to its roots. Medal of Honor started the WW II FPS. Call of Duty perfected it. It's interesting to see them go back to WW II. There's an interesting history fact I'll share with you. In the film Saving Private Ryan, some of the American characters shoot unarmed German Soldiers trying to surrender. Those soldiers weren't German. They were Czech conscripts forced to fight for the Germans. Just something to think about.
Oof, yeah, not the first or last time I've heard of people getting shot while trying to surrender sadly.
I'm glad that this game actually worked for you. I'm also glad that this game preserved some tower defense mechanics from the first game. I'm one trophy away from getting a platinum in the PS Vita version. Also, the obligatory EA ruins everything comment. Seriously, I wish EA continued development. Also, the first game was tower defense. The plants prevented the zombies from eating the homeowner's brains. It's like you said, the game is very silly.
Sometimes, silly is also fun. Things like Just Cause and Borderlands were quite silly at times, but they were quite a lot of fun. I'm also glad this game did work too. It did feel like I was missing out on something with the previous title.
This was an interesting game for me. The game is mostly set during the American Revolution. The main character, aside from Desmond, is a member of the Mohawk tribe. He's trying to keep the Templars from influencing the revolution. There was also an interesting DLC released. After America won its independence, people wondered if George Washington would make himself King of America. That didn't happen. Instead, he chose the title of President. The DLC imagines what would have happened if he had become the King. Spoiler alert, he turns into a tyrant.
One of the things I feel bad about when reviewing games is that I get whatever I can get my hands on. Sometimes, I get my hands on something like a Game of the Year edition which has all the DLC, but sometimes, I wind up with a standard edition that's missing the extra content. As a result, I usually end up missing the DLC. Given the vast amount of ground I'm already covering in gaming, this is probably not a surprise that I miss some things here and there. So, I have my doubts I'll get to the DLC in this game unless it's already on the Signature Edition (the version I have).
Xbox one looks so powerful, Like a tank Might consider Xbox one x
It does! The aesthetic of the console was always interesting.
Bro is living in 2016💀
My experience with the Forza Horizon franchise alone made it worth it. Also, XBox One was released in 2013, not 2016. Still, if you are looking for me to check out something newer, you'll like what I have in store in less than two weeks time.🙂
@@YourEraGamer your Xbox is a Xbox one s that was first released in 2016. Also I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.❤
@@riftcoco360 Thanks! Been both excited and nervous about the first two video's in the new year. Hoping for a positive response for those.
Get a ps5
Don't worry, on my to-do list. Modern hardware is expensive, unfortunately, which makes it harder to jump in to quickly.
Same shit happened to me. Totally blows. Really don't wanna try the whole level again to only possibly have it happen all over. I tried a couple earlier saves and none worked. Also back-tracked and found a battery but couldn't take it out of the room.. and I tried taking another battery on the other side of this pile of rubble (where a guy is stuck to the ceiling with one of those gravity things that kill you) but they have an invisible wall there too. Thanks for the info- I was incredibly confused. At least now I know I'm screwed, Lol..
You're welcome! Glad I was able to confirm this was a glitch. It's frustrating that this is such a random glitch because very few people actually get it. I'm pretty convinced that if you get this glitch, you are soft locked in the game. I haven't found anyone who was able to find a workaround with this one.
@YourEraGamer yeah, there was no possible work-around I could find after trying for like an hour.. thankfully I had saved right at the end of the last chapter, and thank God this one is a fairly short chapter.. Guess i should consider myself lucky since I oddly chose to save to new slots at the end of each chapter (something i never do- but damn am i glad i did). Just finished the 2nd game before starting this one, and was only overwriting like 2 saves though the whole thing... SO glad I did things different for this game. I re-played through from the start of that chapter today, and actually had no issue. That's awful for anyone who didn't keep saving each chapter to a new slot (why would you?). Horrible timing too- like 75% through the game... I had tried clearing the cache, doing a soft reset on my Xbox- and nothing worked until loading my save that starts you off on this level. Thanks again bro!
@@mike41062 You're welcome and happy you were able to utilize saves to work around this. 🙂
This was an interesting game for me. You don't see many military first-person shooters taking place during the First World War. I think there was a shooter from 20 years ago that was set in Vietnam. This first level was about the Harlem Hellfighters. These were African-American soldiers who enlisted in the army. Often times they faced discrimination and segregation. In the following playable missions, you play as an Italian soldier fighting in the Dolomites, a British soldier operating a tank, an American gambler flying a plane, an Austrailian messenger in Gallipoli, and a Bedouin rebel fighting with Lawrence of Arabia. I wish they expanded upon the story missions more. The history is fascinating.
Yeah, there was a number of historical elements associated with this game. I did finish playing this one and definitely agree that this game could have had more content. It was a rather short game.
Games like this don't appeal to me. This is definitely a horror game. It reminds me of the Silent Hill series. The horror builds slowly. I will give credit for this game taking place in Greenland. I did a Wikipedia search for the game. I also learned that the largest city in Greenland, Nuuk, has under 20,000 people living in it. The United States also has a Space Force outpost there. Stephen Colbert visited a few years ago.
Yeah, I don't see very many games taking place in Greenland. Europe, the US, and even the middle east sometimes, but Greenland is a bit of a novelty there.
I am not a fan of these games. I don't really like horror games to begin with. The game isn't giving you a lot to work with. It also has weird controls. The last horror game I played was the Resident Evil 3: Remake. That game was fun, if scary. This game is just horrific to me. It reminds me of a Batman villian named Professor Pyg. He kidnaps people and mutilates them into mindless dolls. He also wears a pig mask.
It's totally fair. Horror games are often an acquired taste. Some people really like the thrill of getting completely freaked out. For me, the horror stuff doesn't really bother me that much partly because I've delved into 3D animation stuff. I played Silent Hill games and responded by saying that it is basically a puzzle game with some third person shooting and survival elements. I'm in a very tiny minority in that response, though. When I encountered the first jump scare in Outlast, I remember being like, "I was wondering when that was going to pop up and I'm entirely unsurprised with the weird way the character opens doors." Luckily, I play other games too.😉
Xone x or s?
XBox One.🙂
This game has that early PS3 and XBOX 360 graphics look. I didn't expect a game like this to be this in-depth. Does this have a demolition derby mode? It looks like it could have a demolition derby mode.
I'm quite sure it does. I haven't gotten very far into the game as of yet, but this game is supposed to be very similar to Flatout 2. That game definitely has demolition mode and a few dedicated locations for it (such as a construction yard). I think it also has a huge variety of stunt tracks like smashing cards with your driver flying out to try and make a good poker hand after 5 attempts. I remember there was also things like long jump and a few other sports inspired stunts as well.
I played GTA: Chinatown Wars for the PSP. I also played GTA V and plan on playing GTA VI. GTA V was awesome. Trevor is legendary as a character.
Nice! I hope at some point next year to get to GTA V as well. No idea when, but that's the plan anyway. Sounds like I have something to look forward to, there.
Every new GTA game refines something from past GTA games. I never played this game but I did see many Let's Play videos for it. Liberty City is supposed to by New York. The developers nailed the aesthetic for it. It feels like Liberty City could be one of the five bouroughs of New York City itself.
That's really neat. It's great when franchises try and think of new and innovative ways to make the game better. Sometimes, the game franchise is so well done that little needs to change as well, but seeing improvements is always a welcome sight to see as well.
The intro race was interesting. I haven't seen many racing games with a first-person perspective like that. It's weird for Forza. I hope you enjoy this game more. I'm not sure how much innovation can occur in a game series that went this long.
As it turns out, this game ended up being a much better game for me. If you can believe it, there was some interesting innovation in the form of a dare system. You can get a bonus in credits if you, for instance, voluntarily start a few positions back or add a percentage of weight to your vehicle. That's what this game ended up doing (along with crew bonuses and perks). It was an interesting system to say the least. I didn't expect a huge amount of innovation in this game, but this game actually did it.
I still didnt finish it on my xbox 360 S
My understanding is that it's a really large game. I think the main thing is being able to enjoy your time playing more than anything else. Being unable to finish every game you play is not a bad thing IMO.🙂
Hello dear, ❤🧡Update your RUclips Video SEO for search results✌✌
This game was such a disappointing game for me. It is nothing like the 2004/2005 Battlefront games. To me, it's essentially a glorified Battlefield multiplayer game with a Star Wars skin. The game had zero story mode and only had original trilogy content. It didn't have anything from the Prequels or the new sequel films. Honestly, Battlefront 2 was better. However, that comes with a huge asterisk. Battlefront 2 had a major controversy with microtransactions. I won't buy EA games that aren't the NHL franchise, or the Cal Kestis Jedi games. Those Jedi games are developed by Respawn. They're the ones who make Titanfall. Those games feel like complete games. They also don't have any BS microtransactions.
I was a little worried about this being a multiplayer only game. I only saw training levels to work with and wondered if there are good single player missions or once the training missions are up, then it would be over. Maybe there's still a chance to connect online? Don't know. If not, then my playthrough may be much more short lived than expected (just like Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare).
Looking at this game, I see assassination mechanics in other games. The one that stands out most to me is Ghost of Tsushima. It's not the samurai way to sneak behind an enemy and stab them in the back. In this game, it's expected of the main character.
Also, Jin Sakai couldn't glide. The game didn't give you anything like Assassin's Creed games.
I hope to get to Ghost of Tsushima one day. Made by the same people behind Sly Cooper and Infamous. Given my positive experience with Sly Cooper, it's definitely a game on my radar.
@@afilio11 The glide mechanic was introduced in the previous AC game, but you could end up playing the whole game without using it. It was introduced late into the game and there's few reasons to really use it at that point since you had a good majority of everything else already.
I didn't play the Mass Effect Games. I saw all the backlash to the ending of Mass Effect 3. I also saw how poorly Mass Effect Andromeda was received. EA ruins everything it touches. The first Mass Effect was never released on PlayStation. Also, Mass Effect is less comedic and more grounded than Borderlands. As I've said before, Borderlands is its own unique brand of insanity.
It is indeed. Mass Effect definitely went for a more serious tone with a more serious storyline. Some of the mechanics operates somewhat similarly to Borderlands (mainly the stats of each weapon), but there's definitely plenty of differences between the two franchises. I do know I'm exploring these games for the first time. I've heard about the backlash with the ending of 3 and controversy surrounding Andromeda. Still, the first game at least was pretty good at least, so there's that.
Dude, this is impressive. You are the fastest Tetris player I've ever seen. You would probably kill at the Battle Royale Tetris. I think the game is called Tetris 99.
Thanks! My actual personal record for 40 lines is actually 1:01. The replay file can be found here: jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/75322262 I'll never claim to be the fastest, though. I'll leave that title for players like VinceHD and CZSmall. Their speeds are simply supernatural: ruclips.net/video/upHkwQrNnUc/видео.html Players like those would easily destroy me without breaking a sweat. XD
My favourite is the Xbox one x ❤
Nice console. Also, movies. On blu-ray. Worth it
I will be honest. I'm getting a Donkey Kong Country vibe from this game. It has the same platforming perspective those games had. There was also a pirate theme with those games. The final boss fight took place on a pirate ship against King K Rool.
I remember something like that as well. I didn't play through those games all that well. Maybe someday I'll get back to those titles as those SNES titles were titles I regret missing in my SNES run years ago. Going to be a bit, unfortunately.
I'm sorry about this. It's not something I encountered with the PlayStation games I've played. I don't really play many multiplayer games. I understand your choice.
I was pretty certain I was going to run into something like this sooner or later. Still a bit bummed that it happened on a game that I was looking forward to playing, but, ah well, what are you going to do? I have no problem just moving on to the next game at least, so I have that going for me anyway.
From the looks of things, I think the other player was supposed to control Clank. In this playthrough, he's controlled by the AI. Insomniac has tried different things with its Rachet and Clank games. I remember trying the first Rachet and Clank game for PS3. In certain sections, Rachet would be falling. I think the controller had a gyroscope which could help steer Rachet as he fell. You would just tilt the controller one way or another.
I believe that was Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. I remember having to do that myself in that game. Insomniac has done some experiments with their franchise. Some experiments are more successful than others. I remember that gyro sequence being OK, but things like Gyro support always had limited uses in a given game. Half the time in games, in general, when something like that is implemented and used, it came off as more of a gimmick than something that actually added to the overall experience. I remember Nintendo DS introduced the stylus and a lot of games felt more gimmick than a well thought out portable game when they used them. There were games that used the stylus well, but plenty that didn't do so well with them. Just having two screens was better utilized if I remember right.
This game reminds me of Silent Hill. I never played Silent Hill, but the atmosphere and mechanics remind me of it. Specifically, the PT Silent Hill that Konami scrapped. I saw let's play a long time ago. This game reminded me of it.
Silent Hill may have been one of the earliest examples of the survival horror genre, but they are far from the only game in town these days. One thing I don't miss from playing Silent Hill games is the awful camera's that are so often used. As far as I'm concerned, they traded playability for cinematics on that front. There's some pretty good games in the Silent Hill franchise, of course, though there were elements that weren't the greatest when I played them.
The graphics are very good. It looks scenic for a last-gen console.
Forza has always had a reputation for creating games with great graphics. It's rare if they miss, if ever, on an entry.
I don't know how old this game is, but Clarkson on Top Gear makes this really old.
It's a 2013 game, so it is starting to get up there in age. It's more scary that 2013 was more than a decade ago for me, personally.
I have been gaming since the early 80's, Sinclair Spectrum 48K, Sinclair Spectrum 48K+, *Commodore 16, *Commodore 64, Sinclair Spectrum +2, *Commodore Amiga 500+, *Commodore Amiga 1200, Sega Master System, *Sega Game Gear, *Nintendo Gameboy (Red), *PS One, *PS2, *PS4, *Xbox, *Xbox 360 Slim, *Xbox one, *Xbox Series X, and I have added a gaming PC to my collection. (* denotes I still own these gaming systems). So I have been gaming a long time. Started off on the bat'n'ball game on the TV, then came Spectrum playing Manic Miner, Atic Attack, Jet Set Willy, Defender, Space Invaders. I was young and stupid and now I am old and stupid. I look back at my life and think I wasted so much time gaming that life ha just passed me buy. Game responsibly, there is more to life than just staring at a screen for hours on end, go see friends and family. Got to the gym, work out get fit not fat. But please still enjoy your gaming just make room for other things life can offer. I recomend putting an SSD in the PS4 and an external SSD on the Xbox one you can put the SSD internally but its a pain getting the console apart, also an internal SSD on the xbox 360 (an external SSD on the Xbox 360 isn't worth the cost of the upgrade for no increase in performance). Great video, keep up the great work.
i have 2 xbox one x i use all the time. still collecting games for them even if some are not new.
Nothing wrong with older games. What's even better is that the prices of those games are actually dropping on top of it all. I'm seeing XBox One titles go for as little as $5-$10 even (used of course, so buyer beware. It's very possible to run across a bad disc). Much more affordable than the most modern stuff that can run for $70-$100 new. If you're not someone who is insistent that games must be 2 years old or newer, it's actually a highly recommended way to go. I've seen the odd game released on consoles like that go for $40-$80 on Steam while their console port goes for $10 used. Once you have the console, there are some impressive deals to be had out there. Just know that availability may vary, depending on the source you use to buy games. 🙂
does the xbox one x or s play all xbox one games that are for just the xbox one? and vice versa?
That's a question that doesn't necessarily have an easy answer. For one, many games that were released after the XBox series S/X was released also happen to be compatible with the XBox One. For instance, Forza Horizon 5 was released the year after the Xbox series S/X was released, but it is compatible with XBox One consoles. I can't imagine this lasting forever and I wouldn't be surprised if there are already games out there that have been released for the S/X that aren't compatible with the XBox One. For another, if you are looking at online content, The XBox One's ability to access the online digital store won't last forever. We've already seen online capabilities of the XBox 360 discontinued and the same will probably eventually happen for the XBox One at some point in the future. You can still install and play hard copies of games and what you already bought will probably still be accessible, but your ability to purchase new digital games won't be something you can bank on having forever with the XBox One. I'm not aware of when this might happen, but it is an eventuality. A fun fact, however, is that the XBox X/S does have backwards compatibility to some games going as far back as the original XBox. According to the Microsoft website (you can Google XBox series X backwards compatibility list), games like Timesplitters Future Perfect and multiple Star Wars games are backwards compatible. Just note that the compatibility may not be perfect, depending on the game of course. Hopefully, that helps you out. 🙂
im still using my 360, trying to find an xbox one if its cheap enough.
Depending on where you happen to be located, an XBox One can be relatively easy to find our rather difficult. It also depends on the timing of your search as well. I wouldn't be surprised if you could pick one up for around $200 - $275 depending on the edition you happen to get. Just know that not all places you buy from are created equal. Some places might give the console a once over, maybe even partly refurbish it so that the customer can get some extra mileage off of it. Others might just buy it off some random person that walked in and put it straight on the shelf afterwards without really looking it over to make sure it works. So, if you are going into the market without really knowing the used market, it doesn't hurt to ask around about specific stores and ask if they have a good reputation when it comes to selling such stuff. I got lucky and have a store I buy from that has an excellent reputation. Hopefully, at least some of that helps you out on your search.
Personally, SSX looks better than this game. I miss the SSX games and I want them to make more. This game looks unfinished and difficult. Was it difficult?
So far, it was so difficult, I had to bail on the tutorial. I think I spent a half an hour on the tutorial (well after where the video ended) and it just seemed to keep going and going. The tricks grew much more complex than what was seen in the video and the instructions were nowhere near good enough for a decent explanation. In fact, half of the displayed controls were misleading because it had so many caveats and conditions that were implied, but not really explained. Once I bailed on the tutorial, I basically went down to the bottom of the mountain. Plan on continuing it to see what the rest of the game is like, but, yeah, so far, this game is quite difficult to understand and the controls are pretty bad so far.
I didn't realize they continued the story in a side game. I thought Ezio's story ended after the second game. I'm not familiar with most of the games. So I don't know where the main story went. I don't think they'll ever finish the main story.
Also, the start of this game is weird. It transitions from a futuristic setting to a past setting. I'm not sure what's going on.
There's a LOT of games in the Assassin's Creed franchise. I think I'm nearing double digits in these games and I still have several games missing (mostly the newest games, but there's still at least two I'm on the search for that are slightly older). Ezio had a whole trilogy for his story arch and this is the second game. It's going to take me a while to get through all of these games at the very least.
@@afilio11 The game largely starts where Assassin's Creed II ends. Desmond's hideout was discovered by the Templar's, so he is forced to escape along with everyone else. Meanwhile, Ezio (past character) had just taken out a high ranking Templar who became the Pope to unlock this secret chamber and learn of its secrets. Ezio stopped him right after opening it up with the staff and the apple. So, it is Ezio that uncovered the chambers secrets instead. Apparently, it contained a message for Desmond (obviously, Ezio didn't understand the nature of the message since he is in the past). I don't know if any of that cleared up anything, but that seems to be where the game starts at least.
The game looks a little buggy. Bethesda's gotten a bad reputation with their recent games. It wouldn't surprise me if they shipped this game off half-made. Also, this doesn't look like California or Nevada. I think this game is set near Boston. I could be wrong though.
Yeah, apparently, this does take place near Boston. I think it was New Vegas that took place in California? Well, buggy or not, I'm hoping that it won't be a game that crashes a lot like New Vegas was for me. I could see New Vegas being a very solid game worth playing if it didn't have the stability issues and I'm hoping this game is much more stable at least so I have a better shot at enjoying the game. I know I ran into some issues with Skyrim, but they weren't as bad and found the game to still be highly enjoyable. If this game is a bit buggy, I'm hoping it's at least only as bad as Skyrim or better.
