The North Carolina Commission on Volunteerism & Community Service, or VolunteerNC, is housed in the office of the Governor. Our mission is to promote service and volunteering to improve lives, strengthen communities and foster civic engagement in NC. VolunteerNC administers state AmeriCorps programs, disaster volunteers and donations, the Governor's Page program, the Governor's Volunteer Awards and other volunteer initiatives throughout the state.
