OUTER BANKS RV TRIP (no tow vehicle) | OUR FIRST TIME

In late May we drove our RV to The Outer Banks. Since we live in western NC, we wanted to show our kids the unique history and geography of our state. We visited Roanoke Island and the lost colony, The Wright Brothers Museum, Jockey's Ridge (our fave!), Hatteras Lighthouse, and much more! We did all this in our camper with no tow vehicle. The weather wasn't great (super high cold winds), but we still had a great time exploring a different part of our state. The Outer Banks truly is a unique place and definitely worth visiting!

Here is a peek at our weekend camping trip to Edisto Beach State Park. It far exceeded our expectations. The views were breathtaking, the crowds were minimal and the wildlife was abundant. We had a few hiccups on this trip but the memories we made are irreplaceable. This one had us laughing the whole trip.

This video documents our weekend trip in Bryson City. We camped at Grumpy Bear Campground with a swing beside the river right on our campsite. The view was beautiful. We were also right across the street from Darnell Farms, which we visited all 3 days we were there. We have the sweetest memories from this trip!

This is how we spent a spontaneous weekend at the beach in February. Hilton Head was the perfect choice for beauty, beach and nature. We saw tons of sea creatures and spent two days outside enjoying the mild weather, beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. We came in February in the off season and it was absolutely perfect! Also, this is our first video using our drone!

This is how we spent our first ever family ski trip in Banner Elk at Sugar Mountain Resort. We taught our kids to ski, got caught in some crazy weather, and enjoyed the views and pools.We were pretty excited about where we stayed (it's referenced at least 3 times in our video). This trip was sweet and simple and we can't wait to do it again!

This short video shows our visit to Baby Land General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. I went here as a little girl and couldn't wait to bring Annabelle! The boys were great sports and we really enjoyed the sweetness and creativity of this special place. They do a super job at making this feel real for those with big imaginations!

We hiked this very strenuous trail with our two kids. We started from the campground which added extra miles and we ended up hiking 11 miles. Oops! All in all, this was an amazing experience and so difficult for our kids that when we watch them reach the end, we have tears in our eyes. I'm so thankful we captured it.
