Tyler Bryant - Lipstick Wonder Woman (Late Night at Aimeeland)
Просмотров 95 тыс.14 лет назад
On a bitterly cold January day, I filmed a writing/recording session of Tyler's at Aimeeland Studio here in Nashville. After the day was done, we stuck around and recorded a few live videos. We left around 3am, but not before we had this acoustic performance of Lipstick. TYLER BRYANT MYSPACE www.myspace.com/tylerbryantband MY PHOTOGRAPHY AND OTHER WORK www.andymerrick.tv
Barely 20 yrs old..like a young John hammond jr. Bit of John mayer and full of energy..
This is the best version fo sho, and nobody sounds like Cage the Elephant 🐘, Cage the Elephant sounds like everyone else. Lol
*Like it* 👌
Hey! Do anyone knows what tuning is he using?
Open F#
What is this tuning?
Nope open F#
Open G
Tyler is one of those artists like Chris Daughtry and Ed Sheeran who are simply at their best when it is just them and their guitar. When playing in a group they are somehow diluted.
How can u compare ed with tyler haha
@@Masterufoss You have not seen Ed Sheeran live then.
This is the real deal. He should be more well known than the garbage rappers of today's music scene.
La buena suerte de Brook entro en segundo tiempo y anota
Nashville deserves a MLS team?
Over 5 years later but...
アメリカ人のこういうところが好き!
I was there, too!! Thanks for posting this!!! Been looking everywhere for some video of the DMG Demonbreun reaction!
Americans do love soccer
it is cool to see americans celebrating like this....i am shocked because i thought that you do not appreciate this great sport at all....regards from Croatia
I don't watch league play. But I LOVE the World Cup. SO exciting. Just started liking it about 8 years ago. Maybe 12 years ago. But more now.
I never watched it much , mostly because American TV just doesn't normally give a damn about it, we have to suffer through the endless stopping and starting of padded American crap football..............but I am HOOKED
MuscleDaddyCMH In 2015, There will be much more MLS coverage thanks to the new TV deal.
@@MuscleDaddyCMH no, american tv they have MLS mostly league.u know in Australia ,australian media just talk fucking shit afl and rugby
The USA loves soccer. However, it doesn’t work well with leagues here. Many kids play soccer here; hence the term: soccer mom. The issue is all the money is in NFL, NBA, and MLB.
Thank you for capturing an incredible, passionate, and very real and gritty performance. Wish I was there to experience it firsthand. Nice framing of the shoot as well. More please!
get outa here troll.
The kid has a lot of talent and skill I never meant to reduce his appeal I was just saying a lot of guys out there are doing the same cut and paste stuff... I am in a personal rut myself , I am having a tough time makin new of my unique sound that I am sure most people find to be a nonsense but I have caught some peoples interest and it is provoking to say the least... Heart felt music is the best especially on the fly in my opinion , that kids licks were cut n paste atm he will evolve. Cheers!
Ya we almost got that debut album but we got shorted on time and line up was quite long lol he made quite an impression at the show :) But after watching Jeff Beck paps and I almost went home and burn our guitars.... lol
Could someone please tell me the tuning of his guitar?
Open F#
Open G
Thank God for this guy. Finally a young artist who plays pure music from the soul, not the keyboard.
gospel! ;-)
The Chix dig his hair' whatchoo know about Rock n Roll Friend'
It's definitely open F# tuning; same as kick the habit and last one leaving. I play it in that tuning and it sounds just like it
He's awesome!!!! Saw a PBS documentary about Robert Night (yeah, I'm a dork) and decided to look Tyler up..... Turns out he's EFFING AMAZING......... Holy effing Stevie Ray..... Maybe even better (dare I go there?!) WILL be purchasing your music.
Thank u. 4 Real >:/
he's super good. too bad he sounds like cage the elephant
I've been to hundreds of rock and roll shows including Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, AC/DC... you name 'em I've probably seen 'em. Tyler (at 21 years old, mind you) is hands down the most skilled musician I've ever seen. The music industry is polluted with shit "pop" music, and all we need is a guitar slinger to come and break the bullshit.
Sounds like we need a musical revolution.
lol i dont remember him "claiming guitar status". It's too bad you're an idiot, calling someone a douchebag cause they don't make music you like? absolutely pathetic. Oh by the way this is an original song and hes really not overrated...I mean seriously. I hope people don't subscribe to the idiocracy that is your channel...toodles :)
CAGE THE ELEPHANT AINT NO REST FOR THE WICKED. VERY SIMILAR
It sounds like all his strings are all tuned sharp. The low E sounds like an F#, its in an open tuning F# major maybe
What Key is this in? Anyone? Tyler is great. Glad to see a young guy putting out acoustic blues songs instead of just ripping on electric.
@wicksanu so just because this vid has 40k+ clicks i should change my mind? no way, i know what i'm talking about because that's my opinion, an i mean what i say. don't try to indoctrinate me please....
just another young bluesy pop star ...meh.
he is amazing.
@andymerrick damn I am surprised you caught that and where I cut pasted it from. If Jeff Beck did not agree I am sure he would not post it on his site. I thought the young fella was awesome. My mistake was putting "Jeff says" my bad. If you did not point that out I don't think I would have caught on tbh. Cheers :)
@CapnCrossbones Jeff didn't say that. That's a review from someone at the Calgary Herald. The entire review was copy and pasted from their review to the News section on Jeff's website.
I saw this guy live opening for Jeff Beck very excellent showman and guitar player. Jeff says"As for opener, 20-year-old Texas blues guitar prodigy Tyler Bryant, he’s got a long way to go before he’s considered even a cherub. Talented, true, the solo “living room jam” he put on was skilful, but offered little different from the endless parade of “next Stevie Rays” the world has been treated to over the past two decades - not a false prophet, but neither the next coming."
@naff01 Tuning is open F#
@simplemann open G
amazing song :)
very cool....
just saw him live with jeff beck amazing show!
i have so much respect for you it's not even funny. it's so refreshing to see real talent these days. Keep on rockin man, you're brilliant
Guitar tune?
This kid is Amazing!!.. I seen him last night at the Center in the Square in Kitchener..Opened for Jeff Beck... Great show!!!!.. Blew the audience away.. !!! Well worth the money:) I loved it when Jeff called him back on stage to join in on an encore song.. wicked playing!!
He makes me think of Mark Farner of grand funk railroad. F**k yeah talent for a change !
Opening for Jeff Beck tomorrow (Oct. 18, 2011) at Massey Hall, Toronto! Yay!
he should play jeff buckley in the film not idiot reeve carney
Awesome live! Seeing him again tonight in Indy.
Can't wait to see Tyler on Halloween with Jeff Beck: A legend, and a future legend.
The boy can play the hell out of guitar no doubt, but he needs a few years of cigarettes and whiskey for a voice to match it....'ya know like Stevie.
