around the apron, inner line of the track, and the outer line of the track. The first two passes were done with the antennae on the left side of the roof; the last pass was done with the antenna on the right.
Kentucky Speedway

This is a quick trip around Kentucky Speedway. I didn't get a video of the actual GPS traces because the sun was setting at the time. In retrospect, perhaps I should have done so because when we came back the next day and shot this video, the track was completely iced over in Turn 1/2.

This is the video of the inside, outside, and middle GPS traces of Bristol Motor Speedway. Sorry about the awkward pause in between the runs...we were having some issues with the VBox software there. 0:15 inside 2:44 outside 4:47 middle

this is just a quick run around the apron/pit lane, as well as through the infield.
Atlanta Motor Speedway (road course)

this is the video of the correct GPS trace of the Atlanta Motor Speedway road course. In addition to making a right turn at the first turn after the right-hand sweeper, this video/GPS trace also follows the "bypass" which connects the end of the road course to the beginning, bypassing the oval section.

This is the inside and outside trace of the road course layout, which correspond to vblog006 and 007, respectively. I accidentally went "the long way" around the road course, to an area that's not the road course (passing by the hospitality area). This was corrected in the next GPS trace.

This is the inside and outside trace of the oval portion, which correspond to vblog003 and 004, respectively.
Talladega Road Course (clockwise)

From its inception until 1983, Talladega featured a road course layout that connected with the oval, very similar to Daytona. The entrance to the road course no longer exists, but the exit back out on to the oval still exists in some capacity. This clockwise direction is the same way the original road course layout went.

Homestead-Miami Road Course Pit Lane
Hope to have my 1st experience here this weekend 🙌
We need the “Atlanta Quaker State ROVAL 400 presented by Walmart” at Atlanta Motor Speedway!!!!!
The connection to the road course from the speedway is sadly for quit some time.
It surprised me that there are some banking of those corners! That's so cool!
Sounds like a shopping cart
I wish NASCAR be on the Atlanta Roval Race at Spring Race.
I wished nascar, IMSA IndyCar and Motogp would do a road corse race at Atlanta motor speedway
A pity they don't use the Roval course anymore. Would be a great addition to IMSA.
And Nascar
Sure would, Camel GT ran there a few times in the 70s
Which roval?
+SRWGP, how'd you get free reign to just cruise around the whole facility? ... I always thought it'd be neat to see a grand am race run the combined course, thanks for the 1st person view.
why did they stop using this layout?
I think because all the Racing serieses leaved the teack and was inactiv after that but i dont remember when the last race was held. I think imsa used the road course up until the 70s or. 80s.
how are you allowed to do this?
