Oo man , thanks for sharing this with us!
That was super fast

As an inventor practitioner myself when it comes to producing drawings of steel construction elements for production my best tip is to close inventor and do it all in Tekla Structures :)
while making it a simplied part can i make it opposite part ?
How come i not think of this, tried contour roll and then bane it.. this worked better thanks :D
Can you maybe tell me how to draw my bend radius if the fabrication guys only change the bottom tool all the top tools is 1mm radius tools
how do you do the opposite of this? when you have multiple bodies
Great..
What are you talking about! Concentric circles have the same center point!
I have 2023 student version, how can I position my holes in hole wizard, do I have to sketch a point first?
How can you pick the circle and make it a part of the sketch and make the block disappear by just moving the mouse around? Also, 2023 command manager for extruce is totally different.
What happened to your home view at 12:36, you have z pointing down and forwards again?
Why can't we use a center rectangle, and why doesn't it auto constrain to the origin, when we pick the origin, like in Solidworks?
I reset my home view to look like yours but when I started my sketch I had to rotate 90 degrees.
How can I see what you are doing on half of a laptop scene while I try it out on my own?
Why is the xy plane the front view and not the top?
My isometric or home view has z pointing down?
Why not turn auto-project on sketch creation?
In 2023 the hole wizard doesn't have the concentric option?
F6 on the keyboard mutes you.
bro you really really helped me, thanks a lot bro
Does anyone know how to quickly constrain/joint all the bolts to the multiple slot holes in one assembly?
Might be easier to define points w/in a 3d sketch, using the coordinate system. Maybe make the projection as a separate part and build the whole thing in an assembly. Derive and combine or make a composite, from said assembly, if you need/want a "single body".
What if i do not want it linked to iam?
Its magical how a less than 35mins video, gives great insight to an absolute beginner. Straight to point with very useful heads-up This is well illustrated. Well-done
Thank you for the alignment help, I am making an assembly and for some reason the combo of sliders and rotational segments are not able to move. Love it...
I am using Inventor 2019
Is there any way to add features to the projected curve line? For example rivet details on a plate with both straight and curved surfaces?
Beautiful man, you're the only one who could help me, I watched 5 videos and yours was the only one that saved me
I hear yah mate.
Man I’m a cadd student. This helps a lot on my project. Thanks!
Thanks man, that's was exactly what I needed now!
One question. Can I connect two IAM files? since I made two parts, connected them into an IAM file and now i want to use it in a as a bigger IAM with other parts.. Omg.. Difficult explanation.. Hope you understand
Can one make the model geometry itself simple using some 1 click function like this. As in an equivalence to throwing a sheet on top of tbe model and getting simple smooth geometries? Thanks.
where you buy the 3D mouse Luke?
thank you for the tutorial, i was wondering why the rectangle did not turned to black even afrer all constarains placed at 9.12
Thanks for sharing this! I'll try to replicate it
I know this video is old, but it helped me today!!! thank you !!!
16:55 in practice, the parts don't have to touch each other to weld them together. a gap of a millimeter or 2, in this case. So the metal have some place to extend when welded. ;When this support-plate fits like a glove. there is more chance it will bend the I-profile after welding. because metal likes to extend after heating. (or deform). Maybe that is why the drawer did this. if you're welding a frame together. I make it always 1mm shorter. And after welding it, its the right size. Good Video's! Cheers from Belgium
A1 presentation, thank you sir
I am trying to make projection to Loft elements but sketch on face becomes completely distorted. Any idea?
perfect priceless information thanks spl. for short V. clip .
18.08 why you don't explain how to create radius? I find that after some time. there is need to press the ALT
Great!! thanks uuu
Hi
Do you have this file on hand?
Is there a way to do this for only certain parts in an assembly? For example, 3/5 parts you want as one part, can you do that?
where is part 2!!!????
I am trying to create a bend on the edge of a sheet metal edge similar to "S" cleat but not able get it to work. The piece is the receptor to the next flat section. Would you have any videos on this? Thanks
