Great musicality. Bu you need a partner who could let you express that, while insuring your protection, guiding in la ligna de baile, while leaving you room to express your tango
@@ChristophePeytier Thank you for your kind compliment. Indeed what you describe is what the leader’s role is in tango. However, this is not what I wanted to show with this video 😊

Adornos look very nice :) but the music...does not even have a bandoneón...sounds weird...like Julio iglesia's music...sorry, not Argentine tango at all ! :(
@@puquilinares Hi there, thank you for your comment! 🙏🏻 No, indeed the music of the adornos is not Argentine tango, you’re right. The adornos were filmed in lots of different occasions with very different tango musics. To find a single song that was fitting them all it was mission impossible 😅 I am sorry if you don’t like my choice.

I appreciate your videos very much! Could you explain to me when we use dissociation with the aperture of the body rather than the other way?
Hi Joanna, thank you very much for your comment! 🙏🏻 It is not trivial to reply in writing (much easier to show and talk) but I am going to try. I assume you are a follower so I am going to focus on follower's steps. If you would also like to have examples for the leader just let me know ☺️ First of all it is important to realise that we continuously pass from one dissociation to the other. For examples, if the leader walks on your side, depending on with which leg you take the step, you are dissociated with the aperture of the body or the closure of the body. For example, if the leader walks on your right side, your upper body is always dissociated towards your right. When you step backward with the left leg you are dissociated with the closure of the body, when you step backward with the right leg you are dissociated with the aperture of the body. With this in mind, if you consider the step right before the lady's cross, this is always dissociation with aperture of the body. Other examples are barridas (ruclips.net/video/ZcnXRkxRJ3c/видео.html) and ganchos (ruclips.net/video/zB_3pDRI-FU/видео.html), where you switch from one dissociation to the other. To try and give you more examples during the dance, I have checked this performance from Mariana and Sebastian (which I like very much 😊) ruclips.net/video/DbsBg-Ek57o/видео.html and I have noted down some clear moments where Mariana uses the dissociation with aperture of the body. Have a look at: 0:34 1:44 2:07 2:55 2:57 I hope this was clear enough and helpful! 🤗

Thank you very much for your lovely comment! 🙏🏻🥰 I am very glad that you find the video useful! ❤️
My big problem is the embrace. Dancing in a close embrace makes me feel suffocated, as I have claustrophobia. This is a huge problem I have. Sometimes I feel ok but suddenly I need to open the embrace. That´s really make me sad. Because the embrace is everything on a dance.
I can imagine that this can cause frustration and can be upsetting…🫤 but if you have a medical condition you can’t do much about it. I would rather focus on the fact that also the open embrace is a super nice embrace that allows lots of communication, feelings and nice moves / dynamics (most of which are prevented in a closed embrace). Also the hands that are in contact (the left for the leader, the right for the follower) form a little embrace themselves. So, actually, even through the open embrace you can communicate so much! As long as the embrace is comfortable and connecting it doesn’t matter if it is open or closed 😊
