Hello everyone! What you'll find here are storm and time-lapse videos that are filmed by me. Nothing is faked. I am very comfortable with my knowledge in these fields, and I also know what I'm getting myself into.
Since this is my personal channel, I will put up other videos from time to time that are not weather related.

Oklahoma City Microburst July 8, 2022
After many weeks of relentless heat well into 100’s (37+ C), some potent popup thunderstorms developed over the Oklahoma City metroplex. This storm was located over the southwest side of the city and was nearly stationary due to very weak mid-level atmospheric winds, which is typical for daytime summer weather.
This was filmed at VASA gym located on S Western Ave and SW 44th St.
What I found particularly interesting about this storm setup was that these storms formed primarily over the OKC metropolitan area, mainly due to what’s called an urban heat “island” effect. This happens most intensely during the summer months in American cities where a lot of impervious surfaces cause excess heat ...

Out doing volunteer work by Joint Base Lewis-McChord and I found a great spot to railfan. Those trains were only minutes apart.

This is an all-day time-lapse of a very active weather day. It rained off and on during the morning hours into the afternoon before a cold front moved through around 3pm. Watch as the clouds change direction as the day wears on. The storm that came through just before 1pm produced damaging winds and torrential rainfall!

A weak snow storm came through my area and only dumped about an inch of snow. It snowed for most of the day, but tapered off sooner than expected.
Chicago Sears/Willis Tower Skydeck

I was visiting Chicago with my friends and we went up into the Skydeck! I have to say, it is beautiful from up there! If it weren't for the clouds, you could see 50 miles out in every direction! The elevator ride was only a minute and a half. It took me a little bit to build up the courage to step onto the glass... What I also found interesting was that it was snowing up there, but it was raini...
Lake Michigan Waves Coming Over Barrier

I was visiting in Chicago and on the last day I visited the lake. It was windy that day (around 25-30mph) and the lake was restless. The video is short because I only filmed on my phone and the wind was cold so I had to cut it short. The waves were only around or less than 5ft.

Lightning Slowed to 1/4 Speed

This is a short clip of what cloud-to-cloud Lightning looks like at four times slower speed. You can clearly see that it originated from one point somewhere in the clouds and then spreads out and eventually finds a path to the ground. It was filmed with the iPhone 5S Slow Motion camera feature. Pretty neat!
Strong Winds, Severe Storm 10-2-14

I noticed that the winds were picking up and the skies grew darker, so I decided to go outside and film and what I caught made my heart race. These were very strong winds up to around 55mph. There were no power outages or extensive tree/vehicle damage in my neighborhood. Very rarely does the wind ever exceed 40mph during the daylight hours at my house. These storms are usually more common out t...
Amazing Storm Timelapse 7-10-14

Video of heavy rainstorms that rolled through on a humid summer day in Tulsa, OK. The rain was extremely heavy as you can see, it came down in bursts around the 1:00 mark. This is so far the best footage of how the rain/condensation works at the lower levels of the clouds. The cloud bases were very dark meaning that the droplets were huge in size. I also managed to capture an amazing roll cloud...
Storm & Cloud Timelapse 8-9-14

I originally wasn't going to timelapse that day, but storms were rolling in so I decided to anyway just to see what turned out.I was pleased, but I expected a little more. But it was cool to watch the storm rolling in on the first clip and the trees sagging down from the rain. Not much rain fell that day, about a quarter of an inch or so. When I move my camera after I got back, you can clearly ...
Full-Day Storm & Cloud Timelapse 8-7-14

This is the timelapse footage of the storms that came through during the morning hours on a hot August day. The sun came out and dried things up which led to lots of water vapor that helped fuel those afternoon cumulus clouds. For you eagle-eyed viewers, you may have noticed that the clouds around the noon hour were moving quite rapidly to the left, but as the day wore on, they slowed down and ...
Rainy, Cloudy Full-Day Timelapse 7-30-14

This is the timelapse of the rain and storms that stuck around all day on July 30, 2014. Towards the beginning of the video, you can clearly see the low-level cumulus fractus racing by even though there is minimal wind at the surface. The storms were non-severe, but they did drop a lot of rain and flood advisories were issued across the town. Most areas received over an inch of rain, and some p...
Full-Day Storm & Cloud Timelapse 6-28-14

This is a full-day timelapse of the weather we had in Sand Springs on June 28, 2014. We didn't get much sun that day as you can tell but it managed to peak through a few times before the storm blew in after 2pm. It took a while for it to come in after the initial gust front, so it was really windy for about 15 minutes and then rained for the other 20 minutes. It only dropped a third of an inch ...
