I can't believe how shitty this show became towards the end. Not just in the writing department, almost everything got worse apart from the special effects and maybe the acting. Look at the camera work in the second scene, look at the editing, look at how it creates tension between Arya and Tywin after she says "anyone can be killed", listen to how a subdued version of the Starks theme plays when she talks about her brother. It was SO GOOD, what the hell happened?

Tywin took on a father relationship almost to Arya. It's quite touching, actually.

I think that in his subconscious he enjoyed Arya because she was like the child he never had. All of his children are a disappointment in his eyes yet this random girl reminds him of himself a lot. The only thing is, he already had a child like this - Tyrion, and if it weren't for his blind hatred towards him, he might've actually seen that he had the perfect heir for his legacy.

This is proof that he’s as loyal to his house and his code as Eddard Stark was.

Tywin miss the old day with his son ,his daughter ,his wife. He want another kid for his legacy. He's nostalgic and alone .

This sequence made me want to watch the series. For years, everyone around me was crazy about Game of Thrones. For years I was encouraged by everyone in one way or another to watch the show and I didn't want to. I saw the last part, the one where Arya eats and the dialogue between the two. This convinced me to watch the episode it's part of, and then the entire series, for context.
