I got braked checked by a Karen . Complete stop and nobody in front of her . I was 2 truck lengths behind her but I had brand new KO3,s on and the ground was wet . Damage crushed all the front plastic and the hood on the sides became 60 40 . Fender areas same 60 40 . Front drive train left tie rod completely loose so I had them both replaced . Idler & tension pulleys both replaced and serpentine belt as well . Lesson : If your getting tailgated badly pull over but remember if they our that pissy they will or could brake check you as well . No dash cam or witnesses they will still say it's my fault . Brake checking is a form of road rage period and if you can prove it was done too you a fine between 2 & 10 k will be leveled. If you have a lifted , aftermarket toy tacoma get a steel bumper ASAP .

These are unrealistic crashes the bumper of the back vehicle is to low.. why don't they have crash test with more large vehicles. Say a full size truck front end and also with dummies in the back seat!?! I'm interested in buy a new SUV with a 3rd row but I worry about my family in the back when the headrest are basically against the back window?? Im more worried about someone rear ending me especially now a days with cell phone distractions!!

We have the regular XC90 but with only a few inches from the 3rd row head restraint to the rear window there doesn’t seem to be much of a crash buffer in a rear end collision. Volvo’s crash test online shows a small child in the 3rd row but what happens to a teenager or adult in the same seat. IIHS and NCAP absolutely should test this. I believe rear end collisions are the most common type of collisions anywhere.

Interesting. I started doing some digging to see about that third row only to find no one seems care and manufacturers will only respond when the market responds. Out of everything I’ve seen, the Nissan NV3500 seems to be the most appealing and never in a million years did I see myself buying a Nissan, but that thing is a tank.

a whole truck just crashed into my driver side, while I was driving, crossed the red light when I had it in green, I couldn't react in time, my dad jumped in to protect me and he only fissured 3 ribs, and well, that day that truck could have killed us, in such a small car.
