We have the regular XC90 but with only a few inches from the 3rd row head restraint to the rear window there doesn’t seem to be much of a crash buffer in a rear end collision. Volvo’s crash test online shows a small child in the 3rd row but what happens to a teenager or adult in the same seat. IIHS and NCAP absolutely should test this. I believe rear end collisions are the most common type of collisions anywhere.

Interesting. I started doing some digging to see about that third row only to find no one seems care and manufacturers will only respond when the market responds. Out of everything I’ve seen, the Nissan NV3500 seems to be the most appealing and never in a million years did I see myself buying a Nissan, but that thing is a tank.

a whole truck just crashed into my driver side, while I was driving, crossed the red light when I had it in green, I couldn't react in time, my dad jumped in to protect me and he only fissured 3 ribs, and well, that day that truck could have killed us, in such a small car. I am complete, complete complete, no shitting, I only got the window cracks scratched, my kia soul 2018 was totaled, the truck was going 70/km, and I'm thinking about replacing the car with another kia,

Just saw a real life roll over highway acident of this pick up. The roof looked flat as a convertible. If there was people inside, they def did not survive. In my opinion, this is a key design flaw for this pickup and would never consider it.

Nissan rouge saved me and my moms life after getting hit from the back by a drunk driver couldn’t thank this car enough.

So that’s 56 klms per hour so in town driving. How about a Hwy speed? I’ve almost been in three head on accidents due to on coming traffic passing when the shouldn’t driving 110 klms towards me while I’m doing 90 klms. I don’t feel like I would survive that crash looking at this video.
