Beware of the angry, aggressive, male truck drivers in Ahwahtukee, unfortunately they are all over the place. Phoenix is infamously the #1 city for road rage in the country b/c of people like them. Other than that everyone else is good.
I grew up here. Graduated Mountain Pointe in 2009. Great place to live back then and still a great place to live now. Quiet. Nice people. Great scenery etc.

Love being able to ride from my garage right onto some great mountain bike trails in the South Mountain preserve. The amount of coyotes yelping in the evening on the preserve can be surreal.

I would really do your research before moving to Ahwatukee. It’s gone downhill in the last three years. Unfortunately, I’m priced out of the market so I’m stuck here.
In the 85048 area we’ve had 2 cash offers on our home without it on the market in addition to that since covid the value of our home has increased by 300,000. Maybe you should of make better financial choices before deciding to purchase a property notorious for pricing to increase.
