Nearly impossible to find this online- huge thanks for posting it ❤ I remember hearing it on the Dr. Demento show once as well as it being played a couple times on a local college radio station back in the late 80's, and I've never heard it since. I've spent years looking for it online and had given up. More than that, I have never personally found anyone who knew of the song even among the most rabid of Oingo-Boingo fans here in the SE US where far fewer people are into alternative music than in SoCal. I got the first one of these from a source who worked at Mutato way back in the early '00s. While memory isn't perfect, I think your description of the first demo version mostly right. It's an early Alan demo for sure. Not sure if that's Mark or Jerry on lead vocals since the recording is so raw! Thanks for posting all of these in one place-- there are a couple versions I've never heard before.
