Hey Guys here we have another relaxing video, whilst driving thru the south of England. The music that is used in this video (Classical) seems to fit the scenery for the video, and I may use more of the same for more of these types of videos. I do hope you enjoy these short videos whilst I film more villages etc during the summer, as these videos help the algorithm, by keeping the channel curre...

your captions are not doing the video any favours...
Hi have you seen the revised version of this video?
Mate, I dont know where the fuck you got the info that Killin is in Perthshire cause its in Stirlingshire.
Part 1 Hi mcladrif. Killin is a village in Perthshire in the central Highlands of Scotland. Situated at the western head of Loch Tay, it is administered by the Stirling Council area. Killin is a historic conservation village and sits within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This is why I said that Killin is in Perthshire, although it's administered by the Stirling Council area. Check out Pt 2 for the follow-up.
Part 2 Hi mcladrif, if you go back in history, you would find that Killin was or is part of Perthshire in Scotland. I spoke of the history of the place, which includes Killin being in Perthshire. There are so many changes etc these days, it's hard to keep up with it all. 😁
beauty place❤
A lovely panoramic view of Penzance. I'm surprised this short didn't get more likes.

Yeah, Looe, and I don't mean the toilet either, lol. This place is real. There's another place called Hooe 😆
Beautiful. So much greeeen! 💚
Thank you! Cheers!

Great stuff.😊
Thanks for the visit
Its a shame you had to spoil a good story and video by including crap from highland titles.. Shame on you.
Hi dl, crap from Highland titles. What do you mean, could it be the text on screen? There is a new version of this video on my channel that revisits glencoe, and this one provides more information about the place with speech, etc. Why not have a look-see, and maybe you'll feel better about it 😁
Great video! However, it would be better to narrate than captions, that way we could enjoy the route and scenery instead of trying to ready
Hi user, there's a new version of this video called Revisit/ Revised glencoe Village. It's got more details, etc, and voice
Thank you. Very nice scenery although it is nicer further north.
Well, thank you, Bill. Have you checked out the revised glencoe video? There's loads more scenery to be had with that video 😋
Yes, true
@@theadventurer28 Thank you. I will look for it. Good luck with future videos.
What lovely photos. Such a big help when planning my visit, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I know you're a bot, pet, but it's pronounced 'Annick', not 'Oln-wick'.
Hi Stevie, at the time of making this video, i was just practising how to use this speech thingy on my computer, and since then, it's gotten better. For example, why not check out the glencoe Village revised video, as the speech is much better. ☺️
@@theadventurer28 Will do. Thanks :-)

Great video. I lived in Ormiston for nine years. Haven't visited in a long time so it's good to see this video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey guys, this video has been up for a while now. What's your opinion of it ? 😊😊😊
Hello, looks like I get to be the first to comment! 😊 Yes, this video was a good improvement over the first. I could see the improvement in your video work. Having tried my hand at doing a couple of videos, I can appreciate what it takes and the work you put into it. I am in America (Oklahoma). My husband and I had the privilege of living in England with the US Air Force in 1976-79. We loved going to Scotland! The beauty of it was astounding. On one trip, we stayed at a B&B which was a private house on Cambell land. I have been trying, over the years, to find it on the map or find someone who knows where it is, but no luck so far. We were told that the Campbell massacre had taken place on the land and the family had lived there for centuries. I was young then and didn't take notes (thought I'd remember a lot of what I saw, read, and heard. Sadly, being old now, I remember so little.) Anyway, I had found a web site for the Glencoe Museum that you feature and contacted the curator. She tried to find someone that recognized it but no luck. Oh well, I have the photos I took and the (somewhat faded) memories. 😊 I much enjoyed the video and the info on the museum since it was something we missed back then. Wish we had known about it. We only traveled through Glencoe, sorry to say. If we stopped there, I don't recall it. What a beautiful drive through there! I don't know if you are from Scotland or elsewhere, but we loved our time in England, and visiting Scotland and Wales. That is where I became interested in history. Thanks for all your hard work and sharing it with everyone who is lucky to find it.
Hi Nell, well, thank you so very much for your wonderful comment about your time in Scotland, England, and Wales. You're one of the very few who has commented about the work that goes into these videos. Thanks for that. For this video, i was going for the epic type of video, for the beginning part, (the clouds) I had seen this type of stuff before and thought it would work well to start the video with. Then the music to go with it. In the last video, people complained about the text on screen obscuring the scenery, so that's why, in this video, there is very little of it. The Glencoe village is best known for the scenery and the massacre, so there's plenty of that, and the story of Glencoe with some sound effects, I thought it would help the story along. I'm so pleased someone likes my work 🤗 as it helps me to carry on. 😊
@@theadventurer28 I love the part with the clouds. Very dramatic! I think you succeeded in your efforts there! I had watched your first video and was going to let you know how difficult it was to read and watch the scenery but saw that others had already commented so I went to your updated video. You had a lot of excellent information included which was great. I wish we could come back for a visit now that we have digital cameras and video (hard to think that there were no personal video cameras when we were there!) Photo developing was very expensive at the time, so I did slides, which I recently got scanned in and printed. Love being able to do that for myself! And learning to do our own video -- what a great thing to be able to do. Keep up the good work and hope you continue to enjoy it! Take care and "see you" on You Tube!
Thanks, Nell, for your lovely comments. And yes, I will continue to do what I can and create more interesting videos with stories about the places I visit. Those slides you mentioned could be uploaded to RUclips when formed into a video if you haven't already done so. Cornwall, cotswolds, and Essex are just some of the places I'm travelling to this summer to film more interesting stuff. Also, a rehashing of Pitlochry in Scotland Da Vinci Resolve 18 editor is what I use to create these videos, I'm currently using the free version. 🤗☺️
@@theadventurer28 By the time I scanned the slides, they had mostly turned red and had back spots on them. I was able to fix most of them so that they were at least pretty good, but some were just too bad, so the photos don't look all that great. They are fine for our photo albums, but I don't think I'd want to publish them. 😊 Thanks for the suggestion, though. We had done some traveling in the US and I did a lot of photography and filming, thinking I would create for You Tube, but I managed to pick up an anti-biotic resistant infection that put me in the hospital for 5 days, and that created some long-term problems, so I never got around to doing the videos. I think about doing them sometimes, but right now, I am dealing with some health issues, so don't know if I'll ever get it done. But I do enjoy watching other people's work on You Tube. Appreciate the suggestion, though, and the encouragement. I used Da Vinci Resolve 16 (free version) a few weeks ago to produce a video of my brothers-in-law's birthday party/family reunion from 2 years ago. It had been several years since I had use Premier Elements, but I was able to pick up the basics quickly enough to get it done. My memory isn't what it used to be, so I find it frustrating trying to do things that used to come easily. Oh well... I still keep using Photoshop and am lucky to have our son here who is very computer-savy to help me out when I forget things. Lucky for me, he is very patient. 😊 I hold out hope that I'll get to where I can do the videos...we'll see. I'm just glad there are folks like you who do the videos and share with the world.
Great watch :)
I haven't been for years thinking about going back for a few days

Hi, not to worry. Have you seen the new version of this video? As it's been up on my channel for a while now, it's got much more content, including scenery, etc.
Some of it
Some of it?
Not great Britain, scotland, ireland gone solo, just waiting for wales.
Hi Judis, Scotland and Ireland and Wales are all currently part of the UK. Not forgetting England 😁
@theadventurer28 no I know of an Irish man who says differently.
The channel tries to tell something of Britain's long history, which covers many topics, like independence. 🫠
@@theadventurer28Not for long.
This video light something big in my heart, cheers and bless you, friend
Hi due, thanks for your comment. Have you seen the new version of this video?
Massive respect. One of the finest vlog on Scotland and Glencoe. No noise, just pure breathtaking scenery, history, interesting information and melodious bagpipes... Thank you for making such amazing videos. ❤
Thank you so much for that comment. Currently, I'm working on a new version of this video, and it's got more content and scenery and music, with more of an in-depth story of this place. If you enjoyed the old video, I hope you and others will like the new one. I hope everything works out OK for this new video coming soon.
Scotland has some of the very best places in Britain.
Oh how I miss the freedom of the Highland. The clean air, the clean water. And the mountains and glens no matter what the weather, just perfect. Give you time to think and breathe

Great video - annoying choice of music
the thumbnail is pure click bait.....classic scottish BS
Hi Anju, I'm glad you made some effort to comment on one of my videos. I have explained in a comment that I made before about the thumbnail image. I can't remember what video I did it for, but it's there somewhere. Have a look through my videos to find it, if you like 👍
Really enjoyed visiting this beautiful town with so much history❤
Glad you enjoyed it
You pronounce Alwick as Anick it hassilent w, don't show your ignorance, when you talk a out my home county!
SORRY has a silent W,
Hi helpme, I wasn't sure about the name so i tried to pronounce the actual name as it was written, I'm sorry about the pronunciation of the name, I will try to get it right next time, as I'm about to do filming of the actual place (Alwick or anick) soon, so i hope you will come back to view it, also I've spoken to some local people how to say the name and they say Anick, so i will try again next time 😊
Great video of Wooler. Best starting place for adventures into the cheviots.
Hi guys the video is still processing in HD. The resolution will get better 😁
Glencoe - all one word.
Hi William, I will keep that in mind the next time. One word (Glencoe). 😊
Cheers.@@theadventurer28
why spoil it with stupid noise ??????????????
Hi Ron, the noise you are referring to is called music. Some of which is bagpipe music, which is scottish. Could this be the noise you are referring to 😆
Nice video but not sure why you used a click bait thumbnail from Lake Ebsiee, which is in Germany
Hi Peter, thanks for your support and comment. The reason I use the thumbnail is that it reflects the countryside. Which helps to share the beauty of Britain and not forgetting the towns and cities, etc, that make up the rest of the channel. As the channel content tries to tell the history of the UK, through my adventures around the UK. Hope this helps.
Your channel but how does a thumbnail from Germany reflect the countryside in the UK@@theadventurer28
Good question, Peter. What I meant was that the thumbnail used refers to the countryside, which is a big part of the videos on my channel. The thumbnail shows beautiful scenery, which we in Britain have plenty of. It's only a reference, Peter, of the stunning scenery that Britain has to offer. Sure, I could have used any other image for the thumbnail, but this one appealed to me and reflex the countryside, which is similar to Britain's. What do you think Peter 🤔
It has good air quality
Hi Alex, Yeah, I would agree with that, very fresh as well 🖕
@@theadventurer28 i wanna live here
It does get very cold in the winter time. It's also a bit isolated, though it is nice and quiet, without any of that city noise etc. 🙂
when was this made pls ?
Hi RuthCam, On the 27th of Oct 2021, i think, I hope that helps 😊
@@theadventurer28 i liked it before but noticed an update about the mill. its a great video of my wee village.
Well thank you Ruth, I'm very pleased you liked it. This video as I was doing it, through researching the story of it, I was struck by the hardships the people had during the 18th and earlier, back then it was very hard to live. Have you seen the Glencoe video I did, as there will be a new version of it, coming soon, and I'm planning on a more epic video this time. Lets hope it works out Lol
keep them coming .@@theadventurer28
I will thanks, I do like this hobby, I do travel to some amazing places like this one. Oh the 25th of December 2021 was when this video was film, and uploaded on the 15th of Jan 2022, I checked it out, sorry for the wrong date LoL.
Beautiful every way you look
Wow, thank you! The new version that I will be working on soon will be more epic with amazing scenery with spoken words little text used and amazing music. This is coming asap.
Isn't that spirit island..BC..in thumbnail...❤..been thropton as well ..not so ❤ but still lovely...

Can someone please tell them they are on the wrong side of the road, please? it's a joke lol but it did give me anxiety.
Beautiful place, beautiful video, absolutely horrific voice.
Fantastic video loved this. My favourite place on earth. Thank you x
Love your channels, the on-screen narrative is very distracting as I try to see the gorgeous scenery. Maybe have it up higher up like at the top of the screen. Thanks.
Hi Barb, How are you 😊. The text on screen helps to tell the story of the places I visit. Giving an indication of what the viewers are looking at etc. I believe you're referencing the text on the screen? Also, thanks for your support ❤
Think Killin needs to be in Perth & Kinross again,
Hi West, I do try my best with these videos. I do hope you like them ❤️
