Know it doesn’t matter, but “Poughkeepsies Always Proud” is my most listened to song of 2024, followed at 3rd by “the priest” Science Will Figure You Out really helped me navigate the year! No album, especially no indie/folk album, had impacted me anywhere as much since In the Awropane Over the Sea. Y’all’s writing and story telling is livid and full of life. Thank you for releasing more music and sharing more art with the world. I’m excited to keep hearing what new art yall release! Know your music has genuinely touched and deeply moved me! I only heard of yall in the middle of last year but yalls music was the first music in years that restarted my lust for life and absorption of art. Thank you so much

I first listened to this song on Grooveshark a long time ago. Every now and then, the words "With a cigarette there on your lips, canadian penny in your pocket, and the songs of the season in the air tonight like buzzards" come to my mind and I look for this video. I don't know any other of the songs by Soltero, but this one is pretty awesome...
