    • @plumbingwerx
      @plumbingwerx 11 месяцев назад

      Hard to say what the issue might be without seeing it in person. There are a few reasons why this may happen: 1/ There's still some dirt/debris in there which has "cemented" itself in, and isn't being removed. 2/ There's some kind of deformity/irregularity in the moulding that's revealing itself. 3/ The new washer has some kind of deformity/irregularity in it, which is preventing it from sealing correctly. 4/ The mechanism itself is faulty, and not allowing the washer to drop fully, and create a seal. Like I said, it's hard to know exactly what the issue is without seeing it in person, so if you've had to luck with just replacing the washer I would say to replace the removable section of the flush valve itself, and seeing how you go. Thanks,

If the water is still going through into the pan, it's possible the diaphragm isn't seating correctly, or that there's a bit of dirt still stuck there, which is causing it to not create a proper seal. Without seeing it in person, I'm a little limited in how much I can actually help. Thanks, and best of luck.

      @@plumbingwerx thank you very much for the reply! I wonder if changing the whole unit would help as otherwise I tried everything.

    I am sorry, I still don't know how to get under the tub. What did you do to get there? All plumbing videos start with all the pipes exposed, but how to get to them? 😒

      Hello Ania, Each bath tub is different, which is why videos don't tend to show this. Your bath will usually have a bath panel which can be removed. Once this has been removed it will expose the pipework. I can't be any more help without actually seeing it, I'm afraid. Thanks
