Love these things from the 60s

47:55 I remember this guy from a Star Trek episode. I don't recall what part he played, but if memory serves, he was wearing a toga.

What are these, bots lauding the film? The movie has a nice flow. Peppard's native stupidity was ultimately undisuisable ("John! When are we gonna play tennis"?) Peppard taxed BAT. He slapped around a wife or two in frustration. I will remember Kiley from the Columbo episode where he was the trapped homicidal Deputy commissioner. Maybe 3 years after this. Jean, lovely, talented and tragic. Interesting little fossil of a film, hardly a masterpiece.

Man, what a great movie. It truly deserves a 10/10. Intelligent dialogues, great plot and both George Peppard and Richard Kiley came across as two real style icons. Charismatic, good looking, well mannered, and so much more. But it wasn't just the two of them it was the entire cast. Nice to see a young Isabel Sanford as well.

The intermittent narration drove me crazy. Ruined it.

Nice low key Sunday movie

Great Movie. To think back then a murder made front page in NYC. Now it's a shock if there isn't a murder for a whole day.

I remember when I was a kid - at the time of this movie; a radio comedian - Fred Allen mention 'The Naked City and then said 'It's on Bear Mountain!' Anyway I just saw it and gave me alotta views of NYC at this time. There was a certain charm and nostalgia!
