Contrary to popular belief, us single Christian men feel just like this lady too. Where's our sympathy?

I’ve been dealing with the same thing since 2013. I came home from prison rededicated and very peculiar. Other than older people, I don’t have many people to relate to. Doing something or hanging with people because I’m press isn’t real to me and eating food isn’t the solution. Yeah I would have joy to if I’m always stuffing sugar down my throat. I’m not gonna be overweight and try to represent royalty. Sometimes I think God made me too different and now I’m suffering for it. I don’t need anyone’s money or food and if your gonna make checking up on me appear to be a job I’m good. At the end of the day, this following Christ stuff is a lot of people trying to escape hell fire. Claiming the kingdom is like having fire insurance now days. Only someone real will resonate. What’s the point in it all.

I went through being alone and still is alone, yet I'm not alone do to the fact that God is with me. He has always been with me, but I blinded myself with complaining and murmuring. What I thought was a curse, was actually a blessing. It was very hard at first, but learned that these are the best times that we get to know and depend on God for comfort. Building a relationship with God in times of loneliness is an experience that will do us well in the long run. One thing I can say is, if you're in this lonely situation, you are actually ahead of most people who will one day soon go through the experience of a time of trouble such as never was (Daniel 12:1) that is soon to take place on this earth. All will have to stand alone with God, and all will need an experience. While many are looking for relationships do to their loneliness, and while celebrities are still complaining about the industry doing them wrong, we fail to see the opportunity through those troubles that God has before us, so we can build a relationship with Him, and that we can be prepared for the coming of the Lord. There is a saying - "God allows conflicts to prepare the soul for peace."And the Bible tells us"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."(Romans 8:28). With all that being said, I say this, even if you're in a relationship, make sure you are spending alone time with God for experience, and for the safety of your relationship. If you are not in a relationship at this time, I'm not saying give up on trying to have one, but don't let it get you down because where God's people are going, the Bible says in Mark 12:25 "... they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven." My advice is learn to cherish friendship, and pray that your appetite and lower passions are put under subjection. It's about to get very serious soon, and all it takes is a serious war to brake out that would isolate everyone to his, or her own survival. Knowing how to stand alone with God now will be a huge help to your survival later. God bless, and may the Lord be with you all!❤️

I genuinely feel like I am that girl in her mid thirties who is feeing suicidal. That was exactly my story though I am in my fourties now and ten years married. Please if she is reading this, don't beat your self up about having the strong desire to get married and you don't have to try and kill the desire. Make sure you have people who love you who won't judge you to talk to. You may need to go for counselling both or either Christian and non Christian. Pray and have people pray with and for you. Not everyone does well being single for.life and I admitted to myself and God I was one of those people and could not pretend otherwise. I started being very intentional about trying to meet someone. Told people I trusted to.introduce me to good suitors, attended events for single Christians run by different churches, sometimes even went alone. Also I joined Christian dating sites and thats where I eventually met my husband. Some.people did not agree with my method (online dating) but today some.of those people are doing online dating. Whatever you do, be decent and keep your morals and body pure and have someone you are accountable or talk to about guys you meet. Maybe mum, sister, cousin trusted older friend. May the Lord grant you your hearts desires

Marriage may not let loneliness go away for some people. Then it gets worse when you become lonelier even after marriage. Just my thoughts. I'm sure some people have experienced what I am saying.

I got married at 35. Didnt have sex until marriage. It was HARD being single. But now im married with kids its another set of HARD. Everything in life is HARD. Just stay close to God. Your relationship with him is more important. Husband and kids is HARD and exhausting. Have fun being single!

Seems to me that praying about it hasn’t helped any and I’m trying really hard not to date “worldly women” but if God just leaves dating and marriage up to us, I’ve got no choice, especially in the church I attend. No prospects. I read, “wait on the Lord” and “Pray and ask God for your request “, but what are we supposed to do if the Heavenly Father doesn’t send a person for us?

God will do what He pleases. He knows what is best for us. ❤

@fopsythegreat So this guy and I have been friends for a long time. We met in 2010 when we were quite young college. He came for a program in my school for a short period and we became friends. He kind of was interested in me then but we didn’t explore it much and he didn’t stay too long. However we became friends for so long comm on facebook, texting and discussing major things in our lives, his challenges, my challenges, the people he dated, those I dated etc. at some points there were short gaps in our friendship then it picks up again. Since we met we hadn’t met physically for about 12years yes because we’ve always been in different regions and different countries pursuing school or other activities. Life has happened we’ve had loses, achievements, he has phd, I went to school too, I’m outside the country, we’re both unmarried. Iv been minding my business but 6 months ago he travelled to the country where I was and we reconnected, I hosted him for some days and now after all these years we had met again in person, we got intimate with each other. On a second occasion he visited again and we spent more time together. I got convinced that I like him now that we had spent more time in person and I know he’s liked me for a long time too at a point in time however he was giving me signs which don’t show commitment when he’s away and never told me he wanted me to be his girlfriend, kind of a situationship. So as he’s been gone after a while I decided to ask him that question and have the conversation. he was always avoiding time for us to talk until I sent him an audio just asking what we were doing n what his intentions are. He got back and said he was trying to figure things out and plan for the beginning of the year so will get back to me. But he’s never come back to have the conversation so Iv decided not to ask again. I have decided to give him space and not to talk about that anymore. My problem is we’ve been friends for 12years and been good with each other so do I avoid him completely, cut him off and never text or call him or still maintain our regular friendship and just check on him once in a while?? I honestly wish God would answers prayers for a spouse. So many Christians suffer so much and God does nothing.

The mistake Christians make is thinking that God will answer your prayers for a spouse.

Thought I was the only one who “hides” because of the shame of singleness. So much so that I’ve deleted social media because it’s embarrassing to be this age and unmarried ESPECIALLY when you are attractive (I know this may not be important in the grand scheme of life), am well prepared for marriage - have been studying for years, decades even, etc so people look and wonder “something very odd must be wrong with her,” etc they assume you must have some deep dark secret because it’s perplexing as to why you’re not married.

I’m a 29 year old single Black woman with a desire to be partnered and married, but I don’t have any prospects in sight. I get overwhelmed from time to time by loneliness, but I’m teaching myself to just sit through it and let it pass. I’m relieved honestly that I didn’t wait until marriage to have sex. Marriage isn’t God’s will for every woman and there isn’t one scripture in the Bible that specifically prohibits having sex before marriage. I genuinely feel sorry for Christian women that are waiting for a ring just to have sex…that ring may or may not ever appear.

I feel for her, sadly as a single woman I've heard so much about being content in your season. seek God and God will surely give you the desire of your heart as if you need to do something for God to answer your hearts desire :( can you seek God because you want to and you want to be in close relationship with Him, not because your waiting for answer to your hearts desire. waiting is really hard , I don't want to feel lonely because I know I am loved by God but just like her I still feel lonely at times.

Try being a single 63 year old guy, loyally serving The Lord since the age of 24. Praying for marriage for the past 39 years, all to no avail. Life has passed me by, & I would not wish singleness on anyone. The sad truth is that singles have no friends because the church is filled with married people who are preoccupied with their spouses & kids, & therefore have no time for the singles.

There's serious problem going on for woman. Been going on for about 60 years, but is getting really serious. Women imo really need to think about their timeline and options. If you want a career and not interested in marriage having kids then super. If you want marriage and kids also super. To have both...you really need a plan. Trying to cram career, marriage and kids all into the 18-35 year old time frame is almost impossible. The females around you saying "you can do everything", "you're a 10", "you can do better", etc.. is not helping you make reasonable choices. Unfortunately a female is forced by nature to have to make these decisions at 16-20 years old. Female brains aren't even fully developed until 25. Add no real experience how can you expect to make good choices? This is why throughout human history a woman's father made the choice on who a woman should marry. Of course in consultation with the mother, daughter and other men. He has the experience. But today we expect young women to make these choices. There are good men. Super easy to find. But he's not tall enough, not cute enough, etc... really long list. Listen to Thai women in the documentary "Fishing for Love: How to Catch a Thai Bride". True for women in many countries. They don't give a crap about a man's looks, height, weight or age. They care about a man being able to provide, to feed and house kids and her so she can focus on having and raising kids. Yes, of course they like taller, more handsome men. But they're super realistic. They grab good men.

thats why we have friends but you have to put in effort for that and young peole these days people act like texting back is too much for for them
