Remember what MannaDesaab, Naushadsaab, Balasubramaniam or Sonu Nigam had said about the quality and excellence of Rafisaab! Anyhow, everyone according to his liking. Nobody can impose his or her choice on others. Yes, Lataji, Ashaji and RD Burman had connection with Kishorda and they publicized him to the fullest and their chamchas heeded to their views. Bollywood don't deserve Hrithik Roshan....

So what would you call those umpteen music directors who would compose their songs on classical ragas. Were they copying? In a way ..yes! But it would not be an exact copy. They would get inspired from the chalan, avroha of the particular raga. It is a topic which would invite a lot of debate (and trolling also which is a curse of social media). Hence,to put it simple..music directors, no matter who,always need some source of inspiration to get started in composing a tune. Once they get into it the song forms a shape of its own. For example, Pancham 's unforgettable number 'zindgi ke safar mein ' ..these opening lines have their roots in 'tujhe jeevan ki dor se baandh liya hai ' but later the song progresses on its own and earns its unique identity. So it's pretty easy to mark someone as just a copycat but let's look at it this way that the same tune could sound like this also..in another situation!
