My first festival in the Westfalenhalle in 1977. I was 13 years old, my parents were still married, my world was still in order. I still remember that the event was delayed by hours. At the time of admission, construction had just begun. There were problems with the transportation. During setup, the audio of a concert from Pink Floyd's "Animals" tour was played. It wasn't that easy back then without the internet. Someone must have had a tape with them from somewhere. Also, it wasn't easy to call home when all the phone booths are occupied. Stanley Clarke, Ted Nugent, and Uriah Heep. I had "ringing" in my ears for a week after Ted's performance. At that time, the political attitude played no role. I didn't understand the lyrics at the time, the spawn of hell in the form of the internet didn't exist yet. It was all about hard hitting riffs, solos and loud music. Even if I find his political attitude sickening and think differently, I wish Ted Nugent many more years of life and, above all, that his fingers remain supple. All the best to Ted Nugent. Hmm. The Anthem, wow. Hmm, it's kinda weird cause I actually am pretty sure I've never heard him play this before. Ted's Star Spangled Banner is actually friggin EPIC !!!! I'm very impressed with Ted's interpretation. Nice spin to it. Very original, and, it just works. I've been watching a bunch of different guitar players own versions of this because I've actually been asked to play this for our local Triple A baseball affiliate in the upcoming Championship Game, where there will be a minimum of 35,000 people there in the stadium🏟️. I'm not really uncomfortable, or nervous about doing it, but more like wanting it to not only be really good, but wanting it to also be completely original, and mine. There are some great ones out there that I'm kinda using parts of for my own interpretation. I'm really trying to incorporate more than one style or one theme, or one approach to mine which is kinda hard if your trying to also have some continuity to it so it comes together in the end and makes sense, and appeals to a variety of people's musical preferences. Ted does some real great stuff in his interpretation that I'm also going to take from that has finally helped me round out my own version and complete it, where I had some parts where I wasn't real sure how I wanted it to sound. So, with Ted's help, now I'm finally finished with it, and, I'm happy with what I'm going to play, thank god. So, thank you Ted !!! I appreciate your interpretation and it was exactly what I needed to inspire me to finally finish my interpretation!!!! 💯☝️🎸😍👍

😳 Wow. Ted's entire philosophy about becoming a real guitar player, and the mindset required to succeed, is 100% percent spot on correct, and is also a perfect example of a mindset to actually live by in life, every single day, no matter what it is your doing or no matter what your hopes and dreams are. It is entirely impossible, to become proficient at anything in life, without an incredible amount of hard work, pain and suffering, mentally and physically as well as never giving up, no matter what you have to sacrifice or endure. That's an absolute, undisputable fact, of life that will get you to where you want to go,every single time, as long as you commit entirely to that philosophy and mindset. Not only is it not easy, it's not suppose to be easy. Easy is something that every single person in the world can do, perfectly, without any effort, or thought, whatsoever. If you want to accomplish anything in life, that is not easy. This tried and true mindset, when put into practice, works, every single time,100%, guaranteed !!!!! 💯☝️😉👍

I can remember being completely 😳 stunned to find out what a straight edged, straight shooting, clean an sober Rock n Roll Superstar that Ted actually was, right after buying his Double Live Gonzo album back in the day. I was in complete disbelief that this rock N roll monster was so clean and pure. Especially after looking at the pictures of him on that album. I'm like, what? Wait? What? How is that even possible!!!!? But that was the God's honest truth. And it's still the truth today. Ted is a100% percent true American Hero of the highest order. An a incredible ambassador of rock music, and, what it truly is to be a real God Fearing American Patriot. I've come to realize and understand why he has so many haters out there in the world today, and it's completely tragic that all of his haters consider themselves the real definition of an American Patriot. But, sadly, they are deffinetly not. These people represent everything that is wrong with the world, especially what's wrong in America today, and it's incredibly disheartening, and disappointing in a variety of ways. There will be people who read this comment and instantly hate me too. Ooh well. I don't give a ratts ass, about any of these so we called, American Patriots. They are essentially traiters of there own country they profess to love, and a complete embarrassment to all the rest of us, and we attempt to separate ourselfs from them, as far away as we possibly can. And still, it's never quite far enough for me. All of Ted's haters are complete political prisoner's, trapped in a cell that they aren't even Awear exists. Addicted to our incredibly biased media that are purposely tearing out country apart. It's a sad and tragic state. Ted represents everything that made America great !!!!
