I like this song but it has a sad beat

I remember being a young naive innocent boy when I first listened to this song. Since then, I have entered the music field and adventured around in so many different genres far away from this scene. Today I was walking around in the middle of the night and I thought of the last chorus and damn, this truly aged well. I remembered the lyrics word for word. Ten years later I can say this song helped a 14 year old experience a myriad of complex emotions within a single song. Music is a vast world but it truly is projection of emotion.
