We are used to the idea that electricity is always at hand. But how safe is it to live in an electric world? Is it safe to live near a power line? High voltage can kill a person in a split second, is it possible to touch a bare wire and stay alive? Is it possible to put your hand in an aquarium with a bare wire? Are there wires that do not burn? #electricity #hydro #production #howitworks ► Sub...

The Human Brain: How Does It Work? // Episode 05
As someone who worked for many decades on offshore drilling rigs, I have never seen this operation described this way. I sounds like it is being badly translated from another language by someone totally foreign to the field, using entirely the wrong words. All of the terms used arent correct, although the principles are fairly correct. I will say that the Platform operations where production takes place is different where drilling takes place, they are typically isolated and run by entirely different units of the company. Drilling operations are typically run by Contractors called Service companies like Schlumberger, Halliburton, Weatherford etc. and managed by the Drilling department of the Oil company, while platform operations is run by the Production Department. When Drilling completes the well it goes into production and is handed over.
Maybe they should do what the New Zealand Navy did and appoint a female captain?
Lololol
This channel is Russian propaganda.

19:57 Camera man hit us with a killer shot out of nowhere
The Russian Ice Breaker Lfeet, the only one in the world by the way ...... and there goes all credibility. Lots of countries have ice breaking fleets.
Would be good to include the key points about ESD 1 & ESD 2 which usually are: ESD 1 (Partial Shutdown): Aims to quickly isolate the wellbore by closing specific valves at the wellhead in case of a minor anomaly like a pressure spike or gas leak. May involve shutting down drilling mud pumps and other related equipment. Can be initiated by rig personnel on the drilling floor depending on the severity of the situation. ESD 2 (Full Shutdown): Initiates a complete rig shutdown, including disconnecting from the well, closing all relevant valves, and preparing for evacuation. Used in critical situations like a major blowout, fire on the platform, or severe weather. Usually requires authorization from the designated safety officer and may involve shutting down all non-essential systems.
Yo no one talking about the camera work, they're taking some crazy sensational shots during this docu xD a bit overdone for a docu on a mining rig, but bonus points for effort, you can tell they were trying their ass off. The host was a bit meh, he felt a bit forced but acting his ass off. You can tell this is B-grade production quality, but it's good content none the less, impressive mining rig, was interesting xD
Is it just me or does anyone want to go into space just to play with the water 😭
Wow incredible piece of work. I enjoyed the video😄
Its the Borg
As a kid I always thought these would be cool to live in
If it’s all run by Scotts than I know how this ends
Yet All World companies that Produce OIL with this Technology and much more do not worth as much as Nvidia or Apple or Google or Meta or Msft (each of them) that produce SH.....ttt.....compare to these companies. All TECH companies are a big THEFT.....Super Bubble....Super Lie.
Magnificent!
I wonder who now delivers those engines to these trucks after the Western sanctions?

5 minutes in and you're still talking about the construction of this platform.. in a video entitled, "Life INSIDE the worlds BIGGEST offshore oil rig." good work..

Incredible engineering.
Unfortunately, for all life presently on Earth, icebreakers are less necessary every year. *_"The NSR is becoming more viable due to climate change, melting the Arctic sea ice and making it possible for large ships to pass without icebreakers. The Arctic is warming at more than twice the rate of the rest of the world. In 2021, the NSR was navigable without entering the sea ice zone for 88 days, the longest-ever recorded. "_* I'm not so sure Russians should be thinking towards the future as much as trying to survive the hole Herr Putin had dug.
Bro.... why not just show us where the rig is on a map? That description location you gave us in the beginning was completely unhelpful to a non-native. Great video though, Keep it up.
Looks nothing like a bird unless you’re smoking weed?
We’re going to run out of these resources eventually. I hope we can continue pushing for greener alternatives. Or even better, nuclear energy.
🫧 😋
This is just unbelievable
Fascinating!
Canada , USA and all nordic countries have fleets of Icebreakers , Russia is far from "the only one in the world" to own a fleet of icebreakers but they do have the most powerfull ones
thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Excellent narration and audio. Well done all the way around
Thank you kindly!
So sad that seamans life conditions are much worse, especially meal, technical condition of the vessels , limits of human source . At drills its like 4 stars hotels.

It is butt ugly and depressing. I would have liked to see the living quarters and entertainment options instead of just on an on of just more ugly machines that look very similar to each other.
All of that Symphony in the back wasn’t necessary. 🙁
You'd think they'd stop pumping once you see a fire on a heavily flammable job site
It was made in Russia
