It's quite hilarious to me that Tf2 still makes a good amount of money and still has a active player-base but is still in the risk of getting shutdown for good just due to Valve not wanting to fix the game. Most games shut down when there are only like a couple hundred people on every day. Hell, the old Gears of war games only have a couple hundred people playing it, but the servers are still up, which is just funny to me.

I dont play TF2 anymore. Hadn't been for the past 6 years. But holy crap, you guys are getting reamed. I am so sorry for you and the dedicated players out there
They're actually not, community servers work fine, literally the whole issue is they think they're too good to play community. Game got hacked, source code got leaked, and main servers are filled with bots. Not valves fault. But players are blaming valve nonetheless.

Valve games are just all abandoned guys. Valve isn't doing anything about the cheaters in CS2 and TF2 is extremely neglected, gangbanged by bots and so much more wrong with it that TF2 is a laughing stock of a game. It has just as bad if not worse of a reputation than Overwatch due to how neglected and degenerate the game is now. Just steer clear from Valve games in general.

What im thinking is, what is the, most realistic, best case scenario for us? Valve won't just focus 100% of their efforts on tf2. So another "update sized update"? A few months of minor bug fixes? Will they contract another company? Valve is so elusive i couldn't make a prediction of what they'll do even if you put gun to my head.
At this point VALVe needs to do exactly what we're telling them to. It's like Zesty Jesus has said, if talking with your words doesn't work then talk with your wallets. Despite TF2's age it's still one of the biggest moneymakers for VALVe alongside CS and Dota

Valve will do perfectly fine if Tf2 no longer makes money for them. They have more than enough with Steam alone, never mind adding CS2 and Dota 2.
