I don't think it's gonna happen... LBP3 was underperforming for so damn long and was absolutely criticized to hell and back by the community. While videos still get decent views and there's a vocal minority of players begging for another installment, Sony isn't going to see that as reason enough to greenlight/order a 4th game. Add in the failure of Dreams (the only other UGC game in PlayStation's catalogue) and there's even less of a reason. As far as Sony is concerned, the UGC genre is dead. There is most likely never going to be a LittleBigPlanet 4. Look into Restitched by Trixel Creative. It's the next best thing and it should be coming to PC fairly soon.

If it helps for everyone missing LBP there’s a game in production called Restitched and it’s a game trying to be an LBP like one. It’s made by Trixel creative a studio who made a few big level series in LBP and they have a discord and Patreon where they post updates. Including a monthly update recapping everything they have been working on

Now that the original games have gone offline and 3 being delisted by the end of this month, we do need a 4th game more than ever, I agree that this next generation of gaming would love a game like lbp, it’s the 2020’s and a new era of lbp could be so iconic

I agree I would love to see a sequel and how they ended it off probably will be a sequel. Also, by the way, don’t listen to people who say that your videos aren’t good. Your videos are very good all right don’t let anybody make you feel like you’re not important you are important to everybody.

Btw, I don’t care for this review. Even though I agree how great it is, you don’t say why. Just say I like it, it’s so good, etc. You don’t use the characters’ names, say anything about Josh Hartnett’s performance. You give no specific explanations of what you like about it. You haven’t given it a review, even spoiler free. Do better.

A sequel to Trap wouldn’t work tonally. We all want Cooper to escape even tho he’s sliced and diced 12 people! How sick is that? 😂 This movie is fun. A cat and mouse game with tongue in cheek. How would they set up Dr Grant and Cooper continuing the chase and keep up the campiness in a sequel? The thriller tone is serious and suspenseful. But it would be boring to watch Dr Grant chasing Cooper on the run.

That’s what’s so great about this movie. It’s from the serial killer’s POV. Josh Hartnett crushes this role. We love Trap. The preposterous concept, the million improbabilities, the over the top dialogue. Daddy Butcher hands back the box cutter: Here Jamie, we wouldn’t want you to cut yourself 😂 Saleka’s stage performance was good, catchy tunes. (But sorry, Night, she can’t act.) Cooper with her in the back room, “catch me, save him,” and the body language, Hartnett is hilarious. He walks that tightrope, serious, humorous, like the whole film. We have ordered the dvd, bought it streaming and VOD. I think it’s even better the 2nd watch, you pick up more of the over the top, out of the box stuff. We give it 4*

Indeed it is an underrated movie. I saw it with my family and we didn’t expect to be surprised with the end and unpredictably of the movie as a whole! Would be interesting to see a sequel, tho I don’t know how it could work.

I’m sorry but although the sequel trilogy broke the franchise beyond repair (undermining the story of the first six films with the empire rising back to power) the Acolyte should never have been greenlit in the first place It’s a movie intended to undermine the lore, to make a stab at the Jedi, and thus continue to undermine and deconstruct George’s story Why would anyone who values his work ever get behind Leslie’s proposal to do so. At this point they might as well make a whole different IP, one that functions as a deconstructive spoof of how they view Star Wars under George himself

For a finale I will write how easy it could have been to make a reasonably interesting Acolyte show,, but I will focus on the Broad strokes not the specifics like you. A show called the Acolyte in the High republic, could show us the Jedi at their peak, what were their roles at this time, what were their lives. How the society looked at their roles. They could have shown us different jedis some doing great, others struggling with their tasks. At the same time they could show us the Sith, how the work in the shodows, in secret, under the nose of the jedi, how they recruit, for example, they might use deceit to convince a padwan to turn, but to dispose of them right after doing what they wanted them to do from the beginning ... to show us some of their philosophies., their motivations, to give us some history. there might have been few duels sith against jedi, but in the shadows, one against one. And I will finish with what made me most mad in the depiction of the Jedi, because it showed utter missunderstanding. The witches said that jedi "steel children" ... I think it is the order's duty to find the force sensitive and train them, in the best way that time has shown, to prevent them from turning evil, because if we have a child with Jedi powers on a planet, that is under bad influence, or just is not train to have the discipline to follow the light side .... there will be many cases of such forcee sensitives becoming monsters. And as we have seen in the sw universe becoming a Jedi in fact gives you prestige and opertunity to develope far beyond any parent could hope to give to their child. Sorry again, but there are so many newances that I could barely follow my own thoughts. I hope I created some trafic at least in the comment section.

As I said a few times where I live sci fi fandon is rare, further more all the girlfriends I have ever had looked at my fandom pretty dismissively at best, openly ridiculing at worst. I took it with understanding, because I found romantic comedies idiotic but always acknowledged that it is normal to have different needs. Unfortunately (or fortunately) with the success of Marvel and superhero movies, sci fi became legitimate doorway to stardom. So when KK declared that the Force is Female, and started looking for new female talent some creatives declared that "Star Wars saved their life" ... said the right buzzwords and were given the reigns of 180 million-dollar show. In hindsight the words of the showrunner "fake it till you make it, that is what I did" give us lots of context. . How can we see in the show that Leslie was not in fact a SW fan. First the most obvious thing are the many contradictions with previous media, and this without any benefit for the overall storytelling, this shows Either she didn't know stuff or didn;t care. And it is not only Kiadi Mundi, The distruction of the character of the Jedi, especially "at the height at their power" shows utter misunderstanding of the Idea for them. Oh my god now I started to remember particular problematic things and if I started to write every one of it .... this would never end.

... I decided to divide the text in a few comments ... So I saw, the videos predicting doom, I didn't look at all at the "anti-woke" crowd, because first they represent a part of human psychic that I detest, and didn't want form an opinion subcounsciously and to get triggered by every little thing. But when the Acolyte cast and crew started to do actively PR for the show they focused too much on "patriarchy", "representation" etc. And in fact this got me even angrier than the anti-woke crowd, because this showed me that the higher-ups in Disney decided to use these buzz words, as "get out of jail free card" or in their case "because we claim to be progressive, every critic is a bigot". And still, after I watched the season premiere episodes, my first comments were - the series has potential, looks new fresh, if only they didn't put enphasis on politics, but in the PR, focused more on promoting the story and in-universe reality .... the show might have been a success. Because the bosses knew that predominantly male fan base of the sci fi genre are looking for "escepism" in their entertainment and nobody like to be preached upon. Much better strategy for the progressive cause could be to make a good show, with good story, where the progressive ideas are woven naturally ... From episode 3 onwards everything was downhill.

Probably I will write another tirade, because there is a lot I want to say about the Acolyte and as I said in a previous comment, where I live no one cares. So unfortunately I will start with the hottest potato in the whole saga, the political stuff. First to get it over with, I am from the dislike camp, but what made it sad and frustrating for me is that as a whole my political views are hard to the left, and progressive, but above my political views in my pyramid of values I put "honesty", "the blindness of lady justice" (in other words I try to look at any situation without preconceived notions). So I saw behavior, from the Disney higher-ups that needed to be exposed .... As I said I am kid from the prequel era, and one of the greatest aspects fo George Lucas's SW was that in every new movie, he tried to show us new things, and this is my main gripe with the Siquels, especially the force awakens that they showed too much of the same. I might say this was my problem with the Mandalorian, Boba Fen and Kenobi, too much reliance on visual and audio look backs to the OT but the stories were lacking depth ... in my opinion..So when the Acolyte was announced I was very optimistic. Finally some new era, some new stories.

You spoke about Ahsoka and The Clone Wars .... what I didn't like in Ahsoka was that it was very "poor" as far as plot was considered. There was I lot of repeating, a lot of slow silent movement ... a lot of filler. I definitely advice you to watch at least the first season of the Clone Wars in one 20 min episode of the clone wars usually there is much more content than in a 40 min episode of Ahsoka.

Interesting fix idea, I do agree that the play on is it a twin, is it a split personality, is it a changelum/other shapeshift and only reveal at the end is solid. Ultimately I think a lot of the story issues came from the plot-driven nature of the storytelling, as compared to Character driven narrative of other Star Wars projects. Mae's Character felt more like a plot device than a real person with how wild her motivations swung seemingly episode to episode. Cheers mate.

I really don't like the show as it is, but I'm open to a second season. This is controversial, especially nowadays, but I think that everybody generally deserves a shot at redemption, and most things have both ups and downs. Unfortunately, money and notoriety play a big role, so second chances are rare.

I completely agree! With a BD1 droid appearing in the Obi-Wan show proves they have played around with it! I also love how the Zeffo from Jedi Fallen Order have been referenced in season 2 of The Bad Batch! So its very possible we'll see some form of Cal Kestis. I love Cal and I would love to see more of him.

Omg i LOVE THE MARVELS! It’s like a comic book coming to life! The camera work, colors and the action! Omf Brie ❤ she delivered the best Captain Marvel ever - obviously Carol now is for the first time ever - on her own skin! Such a development omg! Her invulnerable hero side and her vulnerable humanity. She started jaded and tired with all the pressure on her shoulders, alone.. and ends up loving being part of a team! We saw more layers to Carol’s personality. She couldn’t act on her max power, always holding back, so they wouldn’t randomly switch. Plus the fact that the bangle Dar-Benn wore weakened her. That made they think about real Great team ups! Awesome. Oh Kamala oh boy!!!!! She’s a delight! Monica so cool! Everything here is amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world! Goose and the Flerkittens! ❤ The flaws are normal, nothing we haven’t seen in the MCU before. Love it so much! So good to see my fave Captain Marvel back ❤

Yeah, the villain in this was fine for the story. Every villain doesn't need a developed backstory. Who's Hans Gruber? He's just a guy who wants to steal sh!t. The villain's motivation made sense, and the part was well-acted. It got the job done.

Having had a non topical life changing experence with the orignal film, The one word that comes to mind is "Reflective" , upon a number of internal layers , The orignall film dives into Jakes journey and his own internal transformation experence , The second film revolves around there famly layers ,(what is core role of a father within the indigious commuitys) This is a famly not a squad (Neytiri). both also bridge refect upon internal ethics of our people's own living history in some very creative ways. , it was a suprising internal reaction and the discovery of "real world" layers touched upon that made the first film such a powrful experence for me. Most people remak about the Technical aspects of the film and they are certanly are very important as to driving its "immersivie" experence, like James Camerons deepy artistic use of natural space 3D and his work on developing the E motion capture system that refects an actors expressions through the Na'vi body langage in a way we internaly recognise, A lot of reasearch was done on upon the layers of importance in "refecting" indigious perseptions of reality, in contrast to our own .(The sky people do not "see") how come ? That we as Europien people have had little contact with. But to me the big quesiton was also "Why" How come we are so blind to these issues ? The internal Na'vi Catch phrase "Oel Ngati Kameie" (I see you) has a lot deeper "real world" living culture and langage roots than many of us realise , Take a look at the roots of Zulu word "Sawubona" Whats that mean ? for me that is also a very non topical thing to discover..Paul Frommer the developer of the Na'vi language took "recognition" of how the internal expression roots of real world indigious languages work within there expression layers. as one example of the core dedication put into the roots of this Storyverse. This enables a form of internal bridge recognition on the part of the collective cinima audience for some ,The idera for Avatar was seeded from a Dream and Cameron has spoken about this before , he is not the only filmmaker that has done this but its important to note "the film in part is a reflected "Dream". For people that are Avatar fans I am going to throw some very real world charters out there for people to take a look at there living history ,, A leader and peace maker from the Haudenosaunee commuiity "(Jake) Swamp". A vital Woman from there peoples living history sometimes called The mother of nations "Jigonsaseh'" She orignates from the Erie nation. What is Erie nation known as ? and why was her role so vitaly important ? . The layers of Avatars storyverse drive many of us to take a questioning look at our own living history , for example Whats runs under "The Doctrine of Discovery" still active today within the internals our nations laws ? (Steven Newcomb is a good resource) What are Indigious peoples opinions of the film ? What did Cameron tackle in the second film after critical feedback from the indigious commuty upon certain layers of first film ? I beleave Thats importnant thing to think about I also beleve the Avatar saga is a feedback learning experence for the filmmakers involved as well. if you take a look at the history of the Great Law of peace in refection ot the third film it might spark some intresting dailog in recognition of the importance of the examples of internal layers of indigious conflit resolution.
